I need some new headphones to go over a beanie....any recommendations?

I was lookin at Skullcandy either the Lowrider or the Icon.

And whats the deal with when it snows? leave 'em at home or would they survive?

Only skiied with earphones before.....

i have the GIs and they fit nicely over a hat

but ive never skied with them cause i always keep it safe with a helmet

get any headphones you like

half the time i rock massive production head phones with subwoffers in them cuz its sick, thye wont get ruined in snow, or they haven't anyways, even pow days, and you get the bumping bass, highly recommended

I just use the cheap skullcandy ones. Usually headphones dont last me that long cause I always fuck em up skiing by wrecking or something like that. Id rather not spend a shitload on something if it will probably get broken.

Good points. Always wear my lid in the park, so I dont tend to even wear earphones....but I want some kick ass ones to crank up on the lifts....

Are they likely to get wrecked if its snowing though?

skull candy has a really sic warrenty

or so they clain they do cause i havnt had to return mine ever and i have had mine for a year now

I have the Ti's but they fall off your head when your jumping and shit. Get either the icon or the lowrider, their both good from what i've heard.

right now you can get the icons for free if you pre-order some of the other headphones

i'd do that just to get 2 pairs of sick headphones for the price of 1

if they are still under warranty they replace them super quick and for really dumb reasons. sometimes you can get lucky and they'll replace them even if its your fault they broke. after the warranty is up and you end up breaking them, they replace the headphones at half price

wrong.wrong.WRONG! jea. nah its a lifetime warranty on them, i.e. parts, blown speakers, coils, but if you break them and its your fault cause you like chuck em out of your car, then there half price. THATS whats up.

skullcrushers for the bass

not that great of a look though but hey get u pumped up

bump bump bump bump BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

skullcandy will hold up even in the hardest of snow storms go for the crushers or the gi's i have the crushers and they lasted all season and i put them through a beating

heya kiddo, sooo. yea. i have the recruits, gi's ti's and icons,... and there all great...

if anything, snag a pair of icons or recruits.. there super light and fit under goggles and over touques quite nicely,. and no they wont get ruined from snow,.. plus they arnt that expencive at all..\

i love rockin my TI's but there so heavy, if u land even slightly hard, they'll definetly take a tumble off your head..

..... skullcandy also has those dop earbuds for wen your rockin your lid in the park.

if youre looking for headphones that will stay on your head, get the icons. lowriders are foldable and they dont stay on your head. or just pay an extra 15 for some g.i's

skull candy has a warranty for that. if your headphone sget broken in anyway they will replace em for you. Skullcandy definatly kills it when it comes to headphones.

Me and my buddy did that once it was so fun. Ski patrol couldn't do a thing either.

As for the thread creator, skullcandy seems to be the preferred around here. but you could probably get earbuds or something that are smaller that fit under a beanie too.

i got mt Ti's from audio-discounters.com for like 30 $ but i was just looking at the site and it doesnt look like they carry em anymore

i have some senheisser ones that are basically indestructable. they have some scrathes and stuff on them but they sound perfect even though ive used them for a couple years. they sound amazing too. i forget the model but i would def give them a thumbs up

Buy "AKG K27i".. they rock! Amazing sound! Will survive all your crashes.. you can switch the Volume with a small button.. so you havnt got to take off your gloves!
