I liked my friends TI's when I used them. Just as good as Sony ones in that price range but the bass wasn't quite as good, but overall sound quality was slightly better. I've heard German and American made headphones are the way to go though.

Check out techincs headphones, theyre not as well known, but they are from a well respected dj brand, and mine have lasted me a solid 4 years now. Best headphones i have ever owned.

...yea, I have the recruits by Skullcandy, and don't judge before you try them yourself. Skullcandy headphones produce good bass (even without the crushers) and these dont fall off as my old crushers did. Believe me, if you want lightweight quality, go for the recruits or icons, same thing.
