Heading up to A Basin

im jellin your life right now mr switchmisty540 living in a mansion, shredding epic conditions everyday and bagging hoes at the bar sounds pretty damn good to me. summer after senior year of hs im definetly gonna do a road trip to mt hood for the month of june some homies and a van and skis and just see what happens
 
any leads on other mansions in the area ? might want to come out for a week, hoping to live up to the legend !
 
bro this place is totally dead this time of year....there are literally hundreds of ridiculous houses that are completely empty right now. total fucking waste and kinda makes me sick that people can afford to leave mansions empty while others sleep in their cars. i imagine it shouldn't be too hard to find something.

that being said, the conditions on the mountain have deteriorated real fast. Pretty sure Pali and Zuma cornice areas are closed for the season. the snow is super sloppy by noon. the park isn't enough to keep me entertained for more than a few laps. i might be headin out sooner than i thought.
 
^yeah Pali proper is closed so I heard. And with temps in the 60s coming up its gonna be a slushfest. Which isn't terrible but I'm thinking its abouy time to hike and harvest corn
 
june 2nd seems pretty likely, even with the 10"+ we got in the last 48hrs. in between storms has just been too warm to preserve much snow. pali and most of montezuma are closed at this point. should still be some solid spring conditions this weekend but beyond that, not too sure. tomorrow will be my last day and hopefully another really good one. i did, however, upgrade my pass to a full pass for next season so i'll most likely be back around opening weekend and definitely next spring....the spring festivities are way too much fun to pass up!

If you get there by 8 you should be able to snag one. About 815 is when everybody seems to roll in right now
 
Wat? You feel like the successful adults that worked their way up through life to be able to afford a mansion at keystone owe something to the 18-25 year olds that choose to party on the beach and ski every day?

And yeah, there was a little bit of a pond skim last weekend, but with the temperatures going up to the 60's this weekend I think it should really start to form.
 
This was monday. Get up there while the coverage is still ok. It should start melting pretty fast here in a little bit
