Heading tomorow which resort should i go first?

So im heading tomorow and my first day skiing will be monday. Ill will buy my ticket at cayon sport to save money. So im wondering which resort to go first?I Im leving sunday so i will be skiing monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday,friday,saturday. The resort i was thinking to go Alta, Snowbird, Brigthon, Deer valley ans Solitude is that a good choice? I think i will got to Alta monday, good choice? +k for help
 
^hahaha no way dude snowbasin has no lodging anywhere on site so its just about all locals from park city or ogden. Way better terrain at deer valley more chutes, steeps and they have a park. Snowbasin even puts Deer Valley to shame in the areas Deer Valley is known for Food and lodges. Snowbasin has crazy nice lodges all private bathrooms huge fireplaces, chandleares and killer food at the same cost. Check it out.
 
Alright im gonna take a look at snowbasin right now, but where should i go for my first day ? i was thinking about alta
 
I AM A BIG SNOWBIRD SUPPORTER! haha more bang for your buck! Unless you can't handle the steeps then head over to alta.
 
If we dont get any snow between now and Monday go to either Alta/Bird if it snows check skiutah.com and go whereever gets the most snow...
 
what are you looking to ski? snowbird is completely tracked out at the moment, still a really fun time though. groomers are nice and you can find so many natural hits to screw around on. solitude might be an option, i haven't skiied there much but from what my friend says there is still some good snow if your willing to hike just a lil bit.
 
alta could be a a good first day try to make it to the canyons if you like to hit some park during the week sometime way fun

i got to ride deer valley (for free....wouldn't pay for that shit). It was really untracked in comparison to say Alta or Snowbird. Simply put the old people are not powder hounds, and they really do leave that shit alone.
The trees at Deer Valley are pretty wicked also, there are tons of them.
I still need to check out Pow Mow / Snowbasin.....
 
honestly doesn't mean that the BIrd is steeper than Alta but that for sure shows that the Bird has more terrain. If that's what you are looking for.
 
you just have to know where to go at alta. snowbird the gnarly terrain jumps out at you, or you can find it with very little effort. at alta....not so much. but alta is fun as fuck, especially if you know someone to show you around.

 
there are no correct answers to this argument, you're going to have fun no matter where you go.
 
Just because snowbird is longer doesnt mean its steep, idiot. Snowbird is flatter than atla, period.
 
whose to say all the vertical drop is just in length though? they have practically the same acres, and snowbird drops 1000 ft more. if it was all in length like you say, it would have way more acres. at least thats what makes sense in my head, maybe im thinking about it the wrong way. and really im not even saying snowbird is steeper, who the fuck is to say which resort is steeper, better terrain, better snow, ect. why is there always a debate between these two resorts i get so sick of it. have fun skiing at alta, i love it there too. not really trying to offend you no need to call me an idiot man, im just trying to say that in my opinion its dumb to make a claim that one resort is steeper than the other, and if you cant find steep terrain at snowbird then i dont know what you are skiing, literally every lift except wilbur accesses some pretty steep stuff.
 
I have a brighton pass that i won't be using for about a week...15 bucks a day to use it or 20 bucks for two days...they rarely check there and don't scan..lemme know if you're interested shoot me a pm
