Heading out west tips

So just starting to talk to my friend stationed out in Colorado. He can't come home this winter so we want to plan a ski trip out to. visit him. He said to check out Keystone and winter park resorts. Just looking for any advice or tips from you guys who. have done it all before lodging, resorts, gear etc.
 
1. Gas up car2. Buy beef jerky and beer

3. Invite 1 friend with parents gas card (works for both gas, jerky and beer)

4. Put your gear in the car

5. Drive West

6. Check snow reports along the way and stop at places that it's snowing

7. Hook up with random townie girl so you don't have to sleep in said car

8. Poach random hot tub at Motel 6

9. when money is running low start your trip back home

10. Get tested for STD's when you get back
