I'm coming down from Oregon around the 24th of march to get some touring in and check out the area since I'm applying for jobs.

Looking for advice on good touring areas outside slc. Should i be fine finding areas just driving around and looking? (e.g are the touring areas pretty obvious from the road)

Also, looking to get some photo's done so if anyone wants to get together and get some shots in let me know.

Lastly, if anyone has an open couch or could point me to a place with overnight parking that would be great.

Thanks

I will hit up a shoot with you. Woot. IDK too much bout the touring spots round here. Hope some one else does as i am curious myself.

definitely. sounds good man. I think I'm jetting out after finals on the 17th. probably ski snowbird thurs/friday then tour saturday once I get a feel for the area.

For touring in around SLC in late march you need to know that you might be skiing chest deep pow or skiing corn. Wasatch Tours vol 2 & 3 cover just about all of the wasatch north and south. Spots to tour around SLC are BCC, LCC, Millcreek Canyon. Other areas outside SLC would include the Ogden mountains by snowbaisin or the Unitas. Tipanoagas has a ton to offer in the spring which is down provo canyon the list goes on and on.

Probably just quick day trips since I dont know the area but stoked on skiing some good snow
