Headed your way. Can't get a read on the weather.

Hey folks, a few of us BroBombers are headed to Reno/Tahoe today and tomorrow. We were gonna shred N-Star and Squaw but the Moment dudes told us to stop being such tourists and hit up a less commercial spot like Alpine. So we've added that to the list.

So to get to my question...how's the weather looking from a local perspective? It says snow everyday on weather.com, but it also says like 48degrees. Is it really dumping in the mountains? What are we looking at?
 
it's been snowing here for a solid 2-3 hours now, and I'm pretty sure at least a foot or so tonight. IMO homewood is the sickest place to be on a pow day, but their lifts suck, and its really small compared to alpine and squaw...
 
Homewood's trees are the best ever in the world... you will get freshies all day, and their lifts really arent that bad, seeing that nobody is going to be on them - unlike kt22 and summit 6 which will have lines out the ass for them.
also, it's a lot bigger than people think... and has some good gnar steeps in quail bowl. Homewood is fucking legit.
