Does anybody know if the madtrix Mojo's with pink bases are strictly for sponsored people? or are they some kind of pro model or what? I would like to know because I order my skis directly from head, but have not found these skis in their catalouge(sp?). Any suggestions?

most likely. as sick as it is, there isnt much of a market for pink skis.

it was the original proto that jon got when they first came out. the discontinued it and went with the white base...much to the discontent of the riders. It would be way more photogenic, thats for sure.

the one with the pink was a prototype model, when they were still testing them. they all have white now. i could be wrong, but im pretty sure that in all the podium shots of jon olsenn he has had skis with white bases.

+10cms...balance the ski on your finger until it is level then go 2.5cms back (1 inch)...its sick and will do wonders for your switch riding...

waaahhhh? but how far the center of the ski is from the recomended mounting point doesnt change according to your boot size. im not quite clear on what you mean by depends on the boot size.

just measure it out...balance it on your finger. then go one inch back from that. its about 10cm forward of the suggested mounting point.

What bindings would you recommend for MT's? Don't say Salomon, because I'm tired of the toe-piece getting loose. Thanks?

salomon bindings are super light...what are you talking about...Tyrolia's are heavy, but they are the most bomb proof bindings on the market...i trust them 100% over a salomon...

I'm riding Head MadTrix MoJo 186 - very heavy, very stiff, stiffest fat twin ever, stiff as fuck - doesn't like backseat landings, loves to go fast. And of course this skis have white bases.

As for the bindings - Look Pivot (P, WorldCup, TT, ZR) are the best, along with Salomon 912. Anything else, like tyrolia and marker, sucks - low elasticity causes prereleases. Look Bottles for me are the best - I've got P12.
