HEAD just hooked me up with next years "oblivion" skis and after one day of riding the 181's, i must say they amaze me.View attachment 438572View attachment 438573

I really didn't know what to expect before i took my first run, but one thing i noticed right away was how stable these skis are. I mean When you first feel the skis on your feet you assume that because of how light they are, that they must really chatter when riding with any sort of speed. But, to the contrary i found they are a Really[/u] solid ski, and make skiing that much easier. The next thing i noticed was that they had a nice amount of pop and made popping off an urban style lip super easy and enjoyable, even when popping onto a normal rail its like you don't have to move your legs much to get on. So next year when these skis start selling to the public i hope some of you NSers pick these up! Great skis, great quality, muy divertida!!

its cool that head hooked you up and all, but why would i want to get these skis over other skis currently on the market? what makes them better?

Ive ridden K2 Line and Armada, and i would say those companies make super solid skis(Armadas were definelty my favorite) I know this is gonna sound biased but just overall performance wise Heads skis are really fun to ride, more than any other ski ive ever ridden.

My local shop carries head so I'm pretty sure they'll have them next year. Any idea how much they're selling for?

Sick ski, head make some great ski. Are they stiff like all the other ski that head make or they are a little soft?

@mint Not sure on that but I would assume in the same price range as the j.o. Pro is this year @banane I would say that they are like a 6/10 on stiffness

I've been riding the 09/10 JO pros for two seasons and I think they might have one season left in them.

How would you compare them? Any difference in weight, durability, general over all feel, etc. ?
