Hey. I was thinkin about buying a pair of Madtrixs but I've heard they are a bit heavy. If anyone has skied them before and knows anything else about the ski I'd like to hear it. Thanks

 
i have some from 02/03 so that probably wouldn't help.

well, i have the 1080s, and they r a bit heavy and stiff, but wut is good about that is that they have great pop and still kick ass in the park so if that is the kind of ski you want, get it

 
Theyre good. because i have them. and theyre really stable and work well all mountain and jump good and go fast. theyre on the heavy side, but dont be a little girl about it unless you are a little girl

i dont know, they are lighter than my scratches with power 100s i enjoied rideing them, i thought they were a great, i would have them the only problem is that they are a bit out of my price range. i envy you if you get them!

 
armada claims they make really durable skis, but the madtrick is amazingly durable, also look out for the 06' model next season, new graphics and more jibbyer, along with a mojo boot and mojo binding

^Cool. Tyrolia is finally gunning for the newschool market, huh? They're not bad bindings, but you never hear anything about them on here. And I agree with the praise for them... I bought one pair of madtrix, skiied them a few times, and went out and bought another pair so that I could use one for a beater ski... because they're invincible. Also, amazingly stable and perform ridiculously well on groomers. It's hard to find a decent deal on Mojos, unfortunately. But great skis, nonetheless.

^^ you must have got a defective pair, witch ive never herd of happening, so that sucks for you but the skis are still awsome, like i said before i want a pair! if anyone havs ant good deals, hook a brother up!

 
Stiff and heavy. Very stable through rough snow, great edge grip, great feel. They make you feel confident, and you will start skiing faster on harder terrain.

If you are light, they might kick your ass in the park.

 
I'm 5'11' and 180 with plenty of muscle so I don't think I'll getting my ass kicked by them. However, I look forward to kicking everyone elses ass while riding them. Thanks for the comments people

 
im 5'10, 135, have the 02 version of them and theyre way too heavy for me. i got them for all mountain use which they're good at.

i still claim on those skis...i have never bent, broken, delammed, or ripped an edge out of a head ski...they are heavy(er) but if you want a ski you can stand on...go with head. they have an incredible reputation for durability. next years madtrix is also a little different with the graphics and the flex pattern

ive got the 02/03s very solid ski goes fucking fast its like the best all mountain twin ive been on. Also holds up great on rails, it would be nice to have a little more flex but u cant have it all

Yeah, whoever the fucking fag up there was that said 1080's are heavy and stiff is a moron. but yea, i love mine, really really sturdy.

Well, it goes like this. It was the middle of the day, it was very hot out, and I had to piss. So i did.
 
i rail the fuck out of them and all the damage i see is a little chips on the top sheet from the opposite edges. But thats how u show a ski u love it by actually using it

the new park madtrix arent heavy. not nearly as light as lines but not a shit load more than the thalls. stiffest ski ive ever seen. that kinda feels nice though, solid as a mofo

I have two pairs... and I wouldn't if they weren't a durable, well priced, and a really fucking good ski.

they are rock solid...mine are years old and still edges completely intact, and i do rails every time i go up skiing.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed
