Yea, so i got these Head Mad Trix for $149.99... was it worth it? My buddies talked me into ditching snowboarding and going back to skiing.

 
Ummm, they only have one pair left, and they're uber long... like 190s or something, they're 149.99 too if you buy bindings, 189.99 if you buy them by themselves

 
i got mine from a girl on ns.com. $100 for skis and mad flex 9 bindings. shittiest bindings in the world, but the skis rock.

well if your not weak, then they should be fine, i dont notice the weight

the extra weight is hardly noticeable. one reccomendation though-GET RID OF THE TYROLIA BINDINGS! they are just simply not safe, at least mine arent. i was landing switch on a 60+ foot table today, and the bindings released the moment i hit the snow, completely unneccesarily. they have prereleased on me a few times, i reccommend going with look or salomon bindings.

Stick rossi bindings on there, and they're some of the best sticks you could possibly wish for.

doesn't the stiffness destroy your legs when you land backseat at all? i've only ridden flexy skis (lines) in the park but i was thinking of head or 4frnt for next year. does the stiffness make a difference in getting shinbang? cuz i hardly ever get shinbang on my lines, and i wouldn't want to start now.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
 
Is head changing their skis for 05? Or are they staying the same as this years?

I think the stiffness helps on backseat landings, personally i prefer it, cause instead of the tails washing out, and letting you collapse and rag doll, they hold firm under you. I guess it depends on how strong you are, cause i guess if youre a weak person you might want the tails to give out.
