Head JO Pros De-Lam???

Completely broken one of my ladies yesterday, will post up picks later but the top sheet has completely split from the base, anyone else had this happen? Have been forced to purchase a pair of K2 Extremes as replacement for the time being!

Did any water somehow get into the ski, either from a hole, crack, etc.?

That can cause delams.

Check your bindings and see if they've been sealed, etc, or any extra holes/cracks.

And from what I hear, the Extreme is bombproof, so I hope this doesn't happen again

that guy is correct, ive broken 1 pair of heads every year for the past 3 years...but the skis ride amazing and i get them dirt cheap so its all good.

but yea i did the same as u, the edges craked from heavy rail use, thus letting water in, that water broke the seal on hte cap construction causeing delam underfoot, about 3 weeks later i landed backseat off a rail and popped the other side, the core cracked. i skied it for another 2 hours, fell like every trick though....so i brushed up on my follow cam skills

Yeh to be honest that is exactly what has happened, there was a small crack, probably from rails, got it really early on, and yeh water probably got in. Will never buy capped construction again. Anyway they are under warranty and I just had such a sick sick pow day on the extremes, which would never have happened on the JOs!

i have 07/08 jo pros and ive skied very hard on them and they have one tiny delam. I think they are actually sick quality

i went to the distribution place awile back to grab a pair of warranties for urban, thinking there would be heeps, and there were only 2 pairs of jo pros, which were 07s, both from the same pro rider who clearly just trashed them not giving a shit, other than that there was no real warrantys in there, so im surprised to hear this

I think it's more of a fault of capped construction than anything. I skiied them pretty hard so all I can say is shit happens and enjoy my extremes. PK slays them in the park so hopefully I might be able to one day!
