HEAD INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM

haah this is funny

'The Intellifibers are placed at a 45-degree angle in the ski for maximum exposure to torsional forces when the skier makes a turn. These forces increase with speed and on hard snow. Intelligence skis sense any change of snow, speed or terrain and adapt to it. The electric energy created by the Intellifibers is captured in a closed circuit and sent through a resistor where disruptive frequencies are filtered out. The remaining energy is fired back to the Intellifibers which straighten instantly increasing the torsional stability of the ski. This all happens in just 5 milliseconds.'

Intelligence chip system:

The energy generated by the Intellifibers is sent to a microchip embedded in the ski. There it is amplified seven times and fired back to the Intellifibers in time packets of energy. This energy stiffens the ski and even creates a counterforce, quickly correcting the torsional movements of the ski. This process does not take longer than 5/1000’s of a second. Head Intelligence Chip System is an electronic ski management system that actively stabilizes the ski but does not reduce it’s liveliness.

No, I don't believe that, unless NASA built the skis.

wow all i think they did were put big words and complicated lingo and then put a sticker on it

Life is a waste of time, time is a waste of life so get wasted all the time and have the time of ur life!!!

I have my own pro-model. Yeah, they have hydrochronic acid in them, it makes you fly!!! And the sticker releases electromagnetic energy so if your carving down a steep hill, you stick to the snow.

Actually their Inteligence Raquets are really good, they have a ton of power. I wouldnt know about their skis though, im sure its good though. And i dont think its all BS--mostly because the tech. is the same in their raquets.

if you ski them you notice the feeling of it, but whether or not its because of all that stuff they said i dunno, at the end of it tho the ski seems to do what it advertises

^I don't want my skis turning into T-1000 or something!! Haha, they'd like turn into sharp objects in the vicinity of skiboarders hahaha..

if you should cut one off those intelligence skis in half where the so called 'chip' or w-ever should be i can almost bet on a pile off cash that it is mostly wood, without electronics.

I dont think they would put Liquid Metal in their skis cuz then it would be extremely stiff, so i would think.

its like those crazy suspension systems in cars, the ones that adapt to turning, braking, acceleration, etc. but the head system prob works if your going 50+ mph, so ill stick with me lines

most of you dont know but Head is in the top 3 for world wide ski sales...Atomic and Salomon are the only ones to top them. 80% of their sales are in europe. A company that gross's that much HAS the $$$ to research the shit out of the system. I have been on the intellegence chip and have seen the effects...they work.

I tested one ski with and one without at the same time and there was definatley a difference in edge control and stability...

This is primarily used for racing skis and the Monster Series. Mojo's and Madtrix would not benefit as much, but they are still incredible skis...Take my word for it...

work to live...not live to work.

work to ski...but only if you ski to work. The simple equation to skibumming 101

...i didnt do it

It would be false advertising if there was no chip in the skis and also if it did nuthin. Sure its not goin to benefit us but it doesnt mean it doesnt work u ppl are seriously retarded!

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

it's actually a pretty simple technology, they make it sounds really high tech though. It's not all that much different than a guitar pickup.

yes there is a micro chip in the ski and yes i've seen it. there was a show on the discovery channel that did a little segment on it

SKIER'S IRRESPONSIBILITY CODE

1.ski FAST at ALL TIMES

2.take MAX air at EVERY opportunity

3.POACH everyone's favourite lines

4.IGNORE all posted signs

5.EVADE patrol at all costs

6.SMOKE big fat stinky ones

7.DRINK to excess

'Stupid fucking Americans!' - Jon Olsson

Truer words never spoken!

that ski is not for any of you, so go ahead and trash it....i race, and i've seen those skis, and the world cup verision with the chip, yea they ski better than the others, better edge control on ice and better reaction in softer chop, of corse there is a chip, they wouldnt LIE to the customer for no reason.....they're skis are sick

^^ i remember seeing that show on Discovery. thats the coolest channel out there, well...other than the scrambled porn channels

cant say i felt the intelli system in the monsters or the xrc or any other head ski, they do good skis, but the intelli system and like spaceframe are more sales arguments then plain and simple fact.

And when you talk with it with the HEAD rep or someone in the industry they now that it isnt that good as they say it is.

Maybe it is a chip, in the ski but i think its more of the wood/fiberglass/carbon or what they choose to use, and how they put the layers in the skis that matters.
