Head impact causing bleeding from nose?

I was having a bad day in the park today, basically just falling a lot on jumps. At the end of the pipe, I tried to pretzel the lip (don't ask why), and of course I caught an edge and slammed my head. I didnt hit anywhere near my face, but my nose started bleeding, not very badly though. for the rest of my day, it would start bleeding again after every time I fell or landed hard, even though I didn't hit my head again. I wear a bern hardhat, and it didnt feel like a concussion or anything serious. The same thing happened last season, when I dropped 20 feet to a flat road (didnt even know it was a drop). I landed on my feet, but my nose started bleeding like it did today.

Is this normally what happens with head impacts, or is this something I should get checked out?

my mom fell on her head the other day and this same thing happened to her, she just waited a few days and it stopped. she still gets headaches from time to time though, but the bleeding has stopped. i still think she should get it checked out.

never happened to me and I was cracked over the head with a vodka bottle once that never broke...could be nothing, or could be a major brain hemorrhage. good luck!

Could be nothing or it could be something very serious. I'd definitely get that checked out. Look at what happened to Liam Neeson's wife. Don't take a chance on something involving your brain.

Go see a doctor if you're really worrying, with that being said blood can be bad, but even worse is a clear/yellowish tint fluid. chances are you wont be conscious to see the clearish fluid.

happend to me.. did a cork three and put my face in the knuckle. got up was seeing red. and then got off the landing and laid down for like 15 min and had a small bloody nose.. than i crashed my car leaving the resort. went to the docter.. had a mild concussion and just a bloody nose from the crash.. but scary though...

well from a lifeguard with past experience dealing with patients with this...

GO TO THE DOCTOR... NOW. bleeding through the ears or nose is a sign of a brain injury.

HOSPITAL. NOW.
If you are bleeding from your head you should really get that checked out, you may have much more serious things to worry about than sitting at a hospital for a couple hours.
It could be nothing, but I wouldn't risk it.

Definitely need to head to a Dr. ASAP

drop the term Rhinorrhea instead of saying nosebleed and the dr will respect you.

Go to the doctor. This could be bleeding in the brain that is draining out through your sinuses thus through your nose. If you can also taste blood in the back of your throat go to the ER. NOW if you are not dead already.

You must have gotten brain damage if you are to stupid to go see a doctor. Seriously, you hit your head and your nose started bleeding, doesn't that sound like it could be a major problem? I avoid the doctor as much as a can but head injuries are nothing to screw around with.
