MANDER Active member Oct 24, 2010 #2 interlaced is pretty garbage compared to progressive. i would look for a camera that shoots 1080p at 30p and 24p and maybe even 720p at 60p.

MANDER Active member Oct 24, 2010 #4 HV40s are a good camera to start with, you wont be disappointed with one.
