Hdpe sliding slow....HELP!

so i just built a new hdpe box, and it doesnt slide as well as i think it should

it could have been that the snow we were using was really really dirty but still it was sticky

my question is can you wax plastic to make it faster? if so how?

before i got into any serious waxing...I'd give some pledge a shot. You may just have some dirt and shit on your hdpe. Parks use another material that is denser and slides better but it is 2x as much. You may try waxing your skis too.
 
Most parks use heavy duty lexan on their boxes, its alot more durable, slides faster, and is also rediculously expensive.

I am having the same problem but im using snowgel instead of snow. The only pledge i know is for cleaing wood in your house. Are you shure that wood pledge will make it slide better?
