HD resolutions to export in

I edit with FCE and I was wonder what were the best resolutions to export in, so they wouldn't be so huge.

I upload all my stuff on to vimeo, so maybe a better question would be to ask the best compression settings for expoerting and posting on vimeo.

(that is a little confusing, but try to match as many of those options as possible. - BTW AIC = Apple "something with an I I can't remember" Codec - you'll know it when you see it in the drop down box).

I actually don't know if what I just posted even makes sense. I'm just wonder if there's a way to maintain the same resolution or quality but just make the dimensions of the video smaller

If that's too big then restrict the data rate/bring down the quality a slight bit.

How long are these videos?
