Im looking into buying one, does anyone have any experience with them? are they worth the money? I heard that they have lower frames per second and it makes slow motion shots look bad. help me ns!

panasonic hvb200 is baller, but hd eats your memory so be prepared, i have no experience with actually editing HD though, so thats all the info i can give you, but a good HD camera is very expensive 3-5 grand

i have a canon hv20. its fucking sick. HDV quality. cost me $860, not too bad. check out my review and video section for a sample clip, highly compressed

For the memory, it imported a 780 mb file for 4 minutes. The editing isn't too bad, seems smooth for me.

(i have a 2.2ghz dual core, 1 gig memory runnin vista)

im in awe how you managed to edit on vista

what are you editing with? i have 2.3ghz dual core and 4gig ram and with premiere vista was still running to much and i couldnt do shit

sick, thanks for the info. now, im just really worried about the slow motion lagging in edits. any experience with that?

you have to be really carefull with hd cameras they are extremely fragile and if you try to load them online they will be in bad qality because most sites compress them so they look bad. if you dont have an hd tvits worthless
