HD CAMERA PLEASE

HAI GUYZ ! Im looking for someone to sell me a HD camera with or without jib handle but some sort of fish eye lense and battery or other goodies that come with it ! Looking to buy it for around 500$ and the person selling it must be willing to wait 2 or 3 weeks till i get the cash Post the pics and tell me your prices
 
$500? what kinda HD cam are you looking for, a broken one?

take my advice, go pick up a panasonic gs-320 or 500, grab a fisheye lense and you're good to go

then you cant get an HD cam.. on the other hand i think a soccer-mom style bestbuy sony DVD camera would be great for you.
 
o rly? i dont think you know enough to make claims like that if you think you can get HD cams for $500.. silly noob!
 
i know enough that soccer mom cams have shitty quality when a hd camera doesnt. and who knows someone may and might have a shitted up one that they would be selling. so i dont really know what to tell you.
 
but obviously you didn't know that some non-HD cams can capture colors better than HD cams. an HD cam won't get you better colors if you know jack shit about filming.

do me a favour and go do some research or take some advice. you're not gona get an HD cam. for $500, get a Panasonic GS320. It's 3CCD and a great beginners camera.

And get those two goddamned letters out of your head. It's not gonna happen for $500. Closest you'll get is the HV20.

 
HD doesnt mean shit for quality, it gives you more resolution, resolution doesnt mean better quality. most actual videographers would agree that a good super8 cam gets a much better image than alot of prosumer digital/HD cams and super 8 has WAY low resolution. color, DOF, and the right mix of sharpness and softness are probably the most important factor when your talking about quality. alot of cheaper HD cams just have an extremely over sharp image and it can look like shit sometimes. your probably not gonna be able to find an HDV cam for 500 anyway, so just stick with SD.

Go into best buy ask them how much this camera is. when they say its $449 ask them to check it again because I got it for $315 completely legal. it even came up on his screen saying thats how much it was.. youll have to order it and it takes about a week so after you buy it go buy a cheap fish eye off ebay.. .37mm 43 opteka lens for $28? not great but enough so in a bout a week youll have a camera and lens and you can start. also pick up some tapes at best buy when your picking up your cam..

camera + lens + tapes = 375 tops.

you are only going to find an HD camera for that low if it has been dropped in the ocean or something. just go buy a basic camera for like 350 and use the rest to buy a lens and make a handle.
