ON OCTOBER 25th, Toggenburg Mountain presents it's third installment of Pre-Season rail slayage in Central New York!

Hay Bails & Grind Rails will offer riders the chance to hit a sick setup earlier than anywhere else on the East Coast! Along with the ability to claim that you rode before anyone else, you also will be able to see two of the BEST films of this season... Level 1's Turbo and the Meathead's Head for the Hills (both of which I have seen multiple times, and still would watch on repeat for the rest of my life).

And yes, while we here at NS cater to the 2-plank way of life, there will also be showings of Sand Box's All Day, Every Day, and Think Thank's Stack Footy. Both of these movies are sure to please no matter what you ride.

SO WHAT NOW?

Mark your calendars!

October 25, 2008. 12-6:30pm

anybody from upstate ny/capitol region area going? I will throw a more than reasonable of amount of cash for gas and some sticky icky if someone will drive me

One more thing that I forgot to mention...

IMPORTANT: All riders looking to participate in the rail sessions must complete a waiver. This means anyone UNDER 18 MUST have parental/guardian consent. If you are under 18 and won't have a parent or guardian with you at the event, you can fill out a release form at www.skitog.com, under the terrain park page.

Jack came up with a sick little contest idea to find an artist to paint some of our rails this year, here's the info straight from the press release...

I came up with the idea to stage a contest at the rail jam. We will

provide paint and plywood but you can bring your own paint and caps if

that suits you. Your job if you decide to show up is to put up whatever

you think will impress your competitors, as the contest will be

partially peer-judged, and myself and the other park staff because its

our park afterall. Who ever is decided to be the winner, whether it be

one person or several, will divide up the task of throwing on the rail

skirts of most of our rails. The parameters are simple, you can write

whatever you want, except for legible profanity (if its not readable, i

dont care) but you also have to include the word Toggenburg, or Tog for

short somewhere on each rail. This is kind of a last minute thing but I

hope that some people show up and give this a try. Who knows, you could

get your work in next year's Meathead of Moving Mixtapes flicks. If

anyone has any questions, PM me. If you can get yourself to Syracuse,

directions to Tog are http://skitog.com/directions.html

Looking forward to seeing some sick stuff out there, and I hope you can make it!

So there you have it. If you can paint, we'd love for you to come out and give this a shot. There will be compensation for the winners (this may come in the form of cash or a passes, not finalized yet).

Here's the final event poster with all the sponsors...

ughhh i'm so angry at myself for planning on throwing a party that day. i'm retarted. i'm gonna have to miss it.

I have three very important announcements...

1. This year's movie line-up is the single most incredible line-up of all time.

2. We have more free swag to throw out than we know what to do with.

3. The rail setup is going to be straight up filthy. Brand new 34' shotgun down bar, brand new 26' down box, and 3 mystery features that I haven't decided on, but are sure to be a blast haha.

So pumped guys, hope you all find rides and can come check this out. Gonna be a blast.

haha word, no helmets necessary this year. i highly recommend still wearing them, but i won't be yelling at people for it this year haha.

haha yea man, that weather put a serious damped on our plans. fortunately, we were able to do the best we could given the situation and everything ended up pretty good. Thanks to everyone who came out, you guys showed up and threw down even though it was probably the worst weather we could have had.

yeah man, sorry again, we had atleast double the amount of snow sitting there on Friday night, the rain straight up wiped us out. Glad you had a good time, but I'm right there with ya, bummed would be an understatement.

I definitely had an awesome time! but i totally should have won the moonwalk/hip hop dancing competition!!!
