fuck, I'm at work and if I have to deal with one more stupid person I'm going to snap. If I get one more person asking me if our prices are in American dollars (damn it, we are located in Canada....our prices are Canadian), or what the price is in American dollars (do the math yourself please)....I'm not going to have a job much longer. Please use common sense and don't waste my time...I really don't get paid enough to deal with stupidity. Sorry about this...had to vent.

 
haha dont worry about it, i hate ff's (fucking forginers) they always are in my shop and smell and i hate helping them o well its a job and i get free skis, where do u work btw?

That's one reasons I don't like calling myself American. Canada helps Americans out buy allowing them to use American money, but America won't allow the opposite. I'm seriously thinking about moving back to Vancouver. I was born there, and it's a really nice place (close to Whistler and the North Shore). Plus, Canadian girls are cuter :).

Work in a grocery store, and trust me, you will believe exactly as I do. Nationality doesn't have an effect on the level of moron-ity (yes, i just made up a word) of a person. Some people are just frooking idiots.

Our money is worth more than Canadian. Our money's value goes up more often than it goes down. Therefore, Canadian money goes down more than it goes up. Canadians take our money because they won't lose any, they might even gain a few cents. Americans don't take Canadian because they'll probably lose at least a few cents. Americans could take a Canadian dollar coin for your 60 cent candy bar or whatever, but tomorrow it might only be worth 55 cents American.

that's not entirely true. There are places that accept Canadian money at par. Perfect example of this is Jay Peak, VT.

And yes - the majority of the population are fucking clueless, tourist or not. My mother is one of the slowest people in the world and has no common sence and reasoning ability at all (granted she probably did a lot of drugs when she was younger, but still)

Steve I worked in a grocery store for 3 and a half years. I wanted to give about 95% of the people who walking in the doors a slap upside the head. I think though, that most of peoples moronicy is contributed by their ignorance.

oh christ zoltyi... you obviously have never been to an ivy league campus... its so annoying... christ, when i lived in boston i had a friend going to harvard, and holy shit we would the dumbest people... so many people at those schools are just these spoiled rich kids who get in because someone in their family is an alum.

 
ok so on the issue of venting..

fucking im paying 175 a month to fucking clean my own horses's stall, feed all the horses, pay for everything he eats all his buckets etc.... to have him turned out in a have torn apart field etc. oh man.... so yeah as we are getting hailed on here in S. ont with snow..... my horse was outside alll day, covered in ice and snow... withouit his blanket on. that obviously should have been on.... so then he gets the shakes... like REAL bad.... oh man. im sorry this is pointles to say all this shit but im soo mad that someone could be that dumb and the place is crappy hes soo outta there REAl SOON.

Tell them it is in American dollars then just take the difference for your own spending money. That is what I would do and no one even knows.
