well said. i think its just that we grew up with those tops pros as the founders of the sport and now that they arent competing as much and younger kids are taking over its a little different. i guess people might find it weird that their favorite pros arent so actively competing anymore.

Seriously. As far as I'm concerned that thing is just a number now. It doesn't show what people think of them at all. I used to use it to see if the person I was talking to was legit when doing buy/sell stuff. It's useless now.
 
you are extremely rude. i think that girls are not as good as boys and it will always be that way. guys have more testosterone and competitive drive than girls. but that is no excuse to say they dont deserve to enjoy skiing as much as guys, and if enjoying a friendly competition is what girls should NOT be a part of, well then i might as well quit skiing right now.
 
it might as well have girls in it now, because, youre right, its a Friendly competition now, It used to be more serious, but now its not serious. Its just another joke jam session that somehow gets more attention than the other joke jam sessions.

This year was lame as fuck, fucking tight pants fashion show, orage needs to make it the way it used to be
 
I had the pleasure of watching this years orage masters, and in my opinion it looked like the best time ever. i dont think more fun could be had on skis than at the orage masters... and as far as the huge name pros not being there. i think that was sweet having the smaller name pros doing it,... they all absolutely killed it and i dont think it would have been a better show had the hugest names been invovled.... it is called the anti-comp for just reasons... and the girl point... having girls there made it that much better.. we never get to see pro girls absolutely slay it, they are not in videos as much as they should be and i think that the way they were skiing and representing there companies was really inspirational for other female athelets, pushing the point that skiing is all about fun...

isnt that what skiing is? a friendly competition, a chance to throw down with some friends and push yourself? i dont think it should be taken too seriously, and i think you should be having fun, if you're not, then why are you skiing?!
