Having Foot problems?

check this out, for the past 4 years my feet always hurt in my boots. I have tried many different boots including salomon, rossi, lange, and even the line boot. Of all of these, I like the lange the best, however that is not the solution. I like lange the best because of my narrow foot but the shin bang and heel pain from hard landings still existed.

That was until I went to Surefoot and got one of their custom insoles. Originally designed for golf shoes, the new softer insoles are perfect for freeriding. The custom fit is done by a computerized platform and then cut to the topography of your foot. Since I got these insoles, my foot as stayed in one place, my heel doesnt lift up in the boot, and my toes havn't been as cold. They also hold my entire foot in one place, making it was easier to butter and land on rails.

If there is a Surefoot in your area, go spend the cash and get some custom insoles. They are the shit. I honestly dont know how i have been skiing for 20 years without them.

Lots of ski shops will do custom insoles for around $120-150 canadian. I got some surefoot ones for that much. And yes, they do work as well as spinks described.

it does seem like a pitch for surefoot but whatever you say man...

anyways i really wanna try that because the arch of my foot always aches and when i try to butter my toes get jammed into the front of my boot or if im buttering the other way my heels dig into the boot and it all hurts hardcore, as for my arch getting sore i think its just because i have wide feet, but i wanna try these custom insoles, how much are they again?

Don't knock masturbation... it's sex with someone I love.

The insoles are about $120-$200. They will last through your next 5 pair of boots. They are more of an investment than anything.

If you have wide feet, I'd reccommend looking into a Salomon boot. Salomon boots are molded to the slightly wider foot, wheras Lange is a very narrow fit. Rossigno, Reichle, and Nordica are in the middle.

A good boot fit is the most essential part of your setup.

good luck

I have extremely wide feet, so I think I should check that out. Hmmm... here's a tip: NEVER EVER get the Head EZ ON 4.0 boot, not even as a joke. It gives me insane foot cramps (I have to unbuckle the boots every time I get on the lift just to let the blood flow back into my feet). The cuff is a mile wide, no booster strap, and virtually no flex: the thing is ROCK HARD. translation: SHIN BANG

^ Obviously. Theyre like, the lowest level boots you can get. I wanted the EZON 9.5's, but got edge 8.0 instead because they didnt have any, and didnt have any 1080s.

I got like 90$ Tecnica boots 2 years ago and wore them around durring summer and shit and they end up molding to your feet
