Have you skied yet this season? poll

Ohio had some decent snow then it got up to 60 degrees and rained. And the wait continues.

I am going up to Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia after Christmas with a couple of my buddies, excited for it

No, but next week I'll be in Tahoe for a few days then after christmas I'll be at copper for a week. Fuck I can't wait to get the season going. After those lil trips bank account will be drained and I'll start bootpacking on the weekends.

No.

So here I am, a grown ass 26 year old dude actually sitting here in my snow gear right this second.

I am still a child when the season is right around the corner

Yes but only barely. Got a half day in at Alpine Meadows on a little half lift, mostly blown snow but we had some fresh rain/snow on top so overall it wasn't awful for turkey day weekend.

That will be all the skiing for me

-22 degrees

30k winds

literally skating on ice on any groomed run

park rails are sticky

Tremblants gonna be so fun

9 days in and I think that's the most I've had this early in a season

Ayy I'm at 13 and that's way more than I've ever had, considering I'm in highscool and live and hour and a half away from any skiing

Hell yeah dude, anything to make it happen

Once. Opening day at Granite Peak. I've just been too busy with work and a few other things. I wish I could just ski every day and get decent again.

Once, opening day at Chestnut Mountain. Turned to slush by the middle of the day I was out of there by 3:00. Heading up to Granite Peak this weekend though, forecast looks promising.

Oof

Been up like 4 times. Snowboarding mostly so I can get my tricks up to par for trying to film

going with your school?

Minnesota has been solid already, I've got 7 days and I'm in college having to drive two hours home every time I wanna ski

Yep, first two days this past weekend. Skied pow, saw Chris Benchetler in the lift line, and learned some new stuff. So stoked to finally be skiing again

quebec is sick, tremblant isn't. I've heard the nightlife is good though so if you're on a school trip that will probably be pretty fun

Tremblant being freezing and busy is all I've ever known in my experience

These posts sum it up pretty well, anywhere in quebec is going to be cold but there are lots of places with fewer people and better snow

this weekend will be 3 for me

skiing at jay at christmas

going on a smuggs trip in march

coaching all winter

should be an awesome season

Chyeea! Finally picked up my pass today, day 2 tomorrow. I have to go back tomorrow, didn’t have my i.d. And the real cute bartender gave me a beer on the count that I show her my “ID” tomorrow

3 days so far, 2 of which were like 4 runs. The other was a decent half day. I took a couple runs checking guns in the morning over the last 2 weeks.

Crazy working at a ski resort and not riding. 12.5 hour shifts 6 days a week will do that I guess. Mad hours but jesus, I just wanna go to bed after work, but then remember I'll wake up just to drive back to work.

Riding tomorrow with the work homies though. We're opening some steeper terrain so maybe some beers and some cruisy laps down that and a few park laps because why not.

Just 4 days riding lifts this fall and all over the past 2 weekends. Late start to lifts this fall but I've been skiing every month. Can't wait for actual winter to start in a few weeks though because that is usually the start of the goodness that will peak in the spring.

Did some bootpacking at T-line a couple weeks ago and fuck it was nice. Finally starting to shape up at Meadows too so probably this weekend :)
