I heard from a friend that this jonny mosely character is doing this cool new trick called a 360 mute grab. Anyone else ever heard of him?

you all hate him because hes not tanner hall. He is a good skier. He may not be able to do the stuff some of the top newschool skiers do but thats because thats not his focus. He was a mogul skier. Now hes just doing stuff for fun. Like the MTV thing.

dont call him a fuckin sell out, he's been around forever, he originated as a mogal skiier and started a bit of the freestyle movement, now he's up there with mike douglass in terms of the origionals, they are both exceptionally good skiiers its jutst that mosely decided to try out different things in the off season, such as media, while douglass has stayed with skiing year round by working out at sms...ask yourself this question...if you had a gold in the olympics, and were famous and everybody knew your name and all that cool shit, would you just ski or would you take some time to do other shit like host some wack show for mtv on a free vacation...personally, i'd choose the latter

what i think is funny is how he called it a dinner roll in the olympics. it was a cork 7. a few years back he was doing dinner rolls which was lincoln loop 3 which were kinda dope.

ARV - he did do a dinner roll in qualifying. He must have told media guys the name then, and they were too stupid to notice the difference when he did the corked 7 in the finals.

 
im sorry but im not a big fan of Moseley... I mean friend at school was like what the hell is twin tip skiing, and he automatically goes... skiing is gay why dont you snowboard, and then they go on about how good they are even though the only snowboarding they have ever done was in there backyard falling every 3 seconds, it drives me nuts, and then he goes o i no what twin tip skiing is, its that johnny moseley guy he was on mtv and then hes like hes the best twintipp skier and he is the only good one... i fucking flipped..... my friends are cool but they dont understand the sport very well and just like basketball

cusson threw the first ever mute three in competition, and was doing all the same tricks before moseley did them and renamed them all to the dinner roll later on.

moseley is a good skier, but he took credit for tricks that werent his, and by doing this took advantage of the general population's admiration of this new movement that he supposedly started.

i think he's a good skier, but thats the most i have to say about him.

jonny, is on a whole new level now. he was infact a pretty good skier. but now, jonny...skiing? hed rather sit and talk on his sprint cell phone. anyone else see his WSI big air practice this year? he almost landed 1 time...

i agree mosley is an ass. one of my friends roomed w/him at a mogul camp and said he was cocky as hell. but he is someone you gotta respect in the fact that he took one day of his life and used it to make himself live very wealthy for probably the rest of his life.....but hes def an ass who shouldnt be in freeze cause hes not true to that aspect of skiing.

 
he may not be the best skier, but I give him props for single handedly saving skiing. I remember watching him in nagano, and realizing that I wanted to ski, and jump. My life has pretty much been shaped around that moment. The dinner rool also showed everyone that there aren't just front and back flips. He's pretty much the ambassador to the world for skiing, so give him some props. Without him, people would think of skiing and see neon, stretch pants and backscratchers.

He may not be this awesome skier, who is out there developing new tricks everyday, but he's still a damn good skier. Team 13's new movie has him throwing down 1260's in the pipe, which is not that bad, considering 12's just started to get thrown with style, and his are not ugly.
