Have you ever heard of this happening?

i have ther 06 07 chronics. this past weekend my binding broke, so i brought it to the shop, no biggy. i got there, and the shop guy (my friend) was like wtf. turns out the back of my ski, like behind the binding, the ski was actually twisted, and lifted up, not the tip, but the actual back half of the ski. i have to get some pictures to warentee them, but i just want to know if anyone has ever heard of this becuz i sure as hell havnt
 
like literally twisted sto the side thats weird maybe itll be like the next big thing since rockered but instead twisted
 
we learned about wood warping in woodwork today and i think i have a reason

ok so when wood gets the moisture out of it it warps so maybe it some how got snow in the core it melted and dried and caused the core to warp

that is my theory
