Have you ever BENT a ski?

I noticed yesterday that the tail on my K2 Fujis is bent. I remember screwing around tailpressing stuff but I can't imagine how it's possible to permanently bend a ski (without snapping it).

Is there anything I can do about it? If someone's got a leftover unbent 179 Fujative laying around let me know!

i kinda snapped and bent it. the top layer snaped and the bottom layer just bent kinda funny cause they were shit skis

Fujatives are known to lose their camber, so this isn't too far fetched...

But that sucks, I would just bend it back?

few degrees noticeable when I put my skis in the holder on the gondola (the tips are about an inch apart which isn't that much over 179 centimeters), but not really noticeable when skiing.

I don't think warranty would go since these are still the red ones. I broke my arm last december so I didn't even ski these properly until this year

My friend bent his twin bothers ski while climbing across metal scaffolding on the ground, fucking idiot.

all skis lose their camber.

DO NOT try to bend it back.. .they will break.

just ride em till they snap. if they do at all.

When you saw bent I think you mean you broke the core with breaking the outside lamination of the ski

happened to the tip of my fujatives.

you can't see any damage to the outside of the ski. top coat is fine, so is the base and the edges...it's just a little bent...weird

im not sure then, I had a big bubble across my ski on the top sheet and a reallllly sweet butterzone on the last 5 inches of my tip.

i bent a pair of x-screams a while back. just kind of broke the core behind the heelpiece. warranty that sheeat.

typically ski that bend have titanium in them. Or something to help with stiffness, but most pure wood cores just snap.

my fugatives the first one that came out are permantly bend slightly in the nose, but thats after 2 years on em so they are fine u ask me. it will happen he u butter em a lot. whatever they are still fine by me.

i saw a guy in the lift line with a massivle bent up ski..like from a little in front of the binding was bent up like a foot. it was nuts

I bent my volkl 6 stars a few years back just behind the tip. I was skiing during a low light snowstorm and I skied into a drift without realizing and submarined. They're decently bent but still skiable.

I had a pair of Cabrawlers (mogul skis) that bent pretty much exactly the way you describe it, right behind the heelpiece. Warranty covered it though, so now I've got a nice new pair in my closet waiting for some bumps.

haha this shit was so funny when it happend haha then u rode the lil plastic snowboard rest of the day and died haha that was so funny..

yeah i bent my ninthwards last year, might sound a little scary but just bent it back the other way and hold it for about a minute then it will stay back where it should for a while
