last month i got pulled over with 2 kids in my car, then 2 weeks later i got pulled over again with one of the same kids in the car by the SAME officer as last time, and im still a junior opperater. i requested a hearing on the ticket went to court today to appeal it, didn't work so now i have to go again in front of a judge... anybody ever appealed a ticket and beat it?

yeah, I don't drive like an idiot. Get's me out of a speeding ticket every single time I pass a cop.

people here beat them all the time, I dont drive.. so i dont know much about how all that works, but the cop that gave you the ticket has to show up, and I know a ton of people that have gotten out of paying it just because the cop was to lazy to show up.

My post wasn't a shot at you, Jodi, if that's what you thought. More so at the OP for making another useless thread.

And I've had my license for almost 10 years now. Yeah, holy shit, I'm one of those "old" NS members with an education and experiences beyond lunchtime cafeteria gossip.

this doesn't work now in a lot of states. i know that here in PA if the cop doesn't show up, your court date is just rescheduled.

anyways i got a ticket for 105 in a 55 and dressed really nice and went in, made up a story, sounded really sincere, apologized to the court and people in my vehicle as well as the officer and got it lowered to 71 in a 55 and 4 points on the license. since i'm under 18 6 points and you lose your license. and my dad is friends with the judge...but still

if you show up to court and dress nice you'll get shit reduced almost guaranteed. it might not go away but it'll help. especially if it was only like 15 over both times.

Yeah the only speeding ticket ive ever gotten I got out of because the cop didnt show up. In MA 9/10 if its a town cop they wont show up, if its a statie your pretty fucked

uhhh this is not high school
when, in a court of law, have you heard of dressing nicely, and admitting to the crime to be found successful

I "beat" speeding tickets with a different sort of outlook, I like to take action before the actual ticketing process occurs. By this I mean outrun the cops & you won't get tickets.

ever heard of plea bargains? a lot of times admitting to the speeding ticket and explaining your remorse etc. works pretty damn well if the judge believes it. this isn't a homicide, it's a freaking speeding ticket.

Me and my brother got pulled over for driving 90kms over.. i think thats like 50-55 miles. talked to the cop and say we needed to reach a ferry from sweden back to Norway. he was like, "ok cool its not that far i think u'll make it even if you drive SLOWLY" I think it being a slow trafficed night helped a bit.

we actually drove the 5 hour trip in something like 3 hours.

Swedish cops are the bomb.

i have gotten out of 3 tickets...all you have to do is go in there and say you know what you did wrong say you dont have a job and you would like to do community service. i had a 780$ fine and all i had to do was 10hr community service it was sweet

well, you clearly do not have the ability to read... were talking about a speeding ticket here, god fucking dammit i want to backhand you right now, are you kidding me??

Guy at my school was speeding and had a court date, so he went back and spray painted the speed limit sign so you couldn't read it. He pleaded that he didn't know it and was able to get off with like 50 dollars.

not around where i live

people say to just go to court and fight it because if the officer doesnt show, the tickets gone

thats true but around here, they always show up in court
