Have skiers pushed it to far this season?

Progression will go as far as the laws of physics will let it. I'm not really expecting anyone to boot a 450 foot kicker, ever. When you put in the equations of how high, far and fast the skier would need to be going in order to make that you'd have to compensate for wind, snow conditions etc... I don't think anyone is really asking for a death wish.

yes biohazard summed up what i was trying to say very nicely. i by no means am saying that progression will ever go to far. i was simply stating that far to many people have become injured and no company is doing anything to help with saftey equipment (besides a few helmets). we need to see more of that skeleton brand protection stuff. more thumb guards, a lot more pros are starting to use mouth peices which is a good thing. and as far as i know line is one of the only companies who are accually engineering a binding for our sport. sure there are a few jib specific bindings out there but nothing that major. i like the point that moto wears knee gards. and i think skier accually go bigger hits that some of those moto jumps so why not wear that extra protection. we need some realistic saftey gear.

o yeah and you said your thumb is worse, i did the same thing you did except i fractured my thumb as well. not to mention my plate and 8 screws in my shoulder. so dont go saying anything about me being a pussy.

mabye you should be quiet and go as big as you can and if you die thats cool if you stick it your the coolest guy alive for a while

I think someone should invent a real big fuckin protective bubble with skis on it. Slip into the inside of the bubble, put some rockets on it, aim it a bigass kicker... that'd be awesome. Now that's progression. Full body bubble protection.

lol, i just wasted my collarbone again, bwahahaha. Ah well, like I said earlier, as long as you're progressing the likelyhood is that you're going to get injured. I'll be back in a couple of weeks probably.

Dude, I freakin got the worst skiiers thumb, and the problem is that, while I do stick my arms out, the pole's grip wedged my thumb. And about the whole progression thing, it will even out and filter all of the halfway decent skiiers out from the best.

Quote of the week:Yeah, thanks Jodi's mom, for the blowjob... I always give in when she busts out the Werther's Originals!
