Hats or helmets?

Me myself I wear a helmet but I do dumb stuff so I need to. Whats with like every pro not wearing a helmet? I mean its not like they're gonna fall on their head often but seriously I think they're idiots. thoughts?
 
this season i wore a hat but in march hit my head really hard of a kicker and i decided that next year im gonna get a helmet.
 
All of this past season i wore a helmet. But for next year, i think im gonna only wear one days when my ipod isnt charged. Because i got some sick skullcandy DJ headphones and the wont fit with a helmet. So i will probally wear a helmet 3 or 4 days a week next season.
 
I hate wearing a helmet. Mainly cos Ive got an odd shaped head so they never fit and the one I own looks a bit gay. But if I'm hitting kickers and trying anything other than 3s and straight airs I always put the lid on!
 
i always wear my helmet. its stupid not to. it would suck if you would get injured in a way where u know if u just wore a helmet that wouldnt have happened
 
i dont like wearing a helmet but i do anyways. sometimes this year i couldnt jump so i wore a hat when just hitting rails tho
 
i used to only wear a hat cause i didnt like my helmet but then i started to wear it and then i stopped.....i did a blindside 270 out and caught the rail and smacked my head on ice....second bad headache of the day and the first was i hit a big rainbow rail and leaned back to far and slipped out and gapped the whole top and landed my head on the rail and thought i was screwed....so i wear my helmet now all the time!
 
yeah look at biking the only time pros arent wereing helmets is sometimes when there street riding but i do were a hat when im filming other than that helmet ill tell u im likin the R.E.D padded hat thoe...
 
helmet. i grew up with my parents making me wear one, and i have been wearing one for so long i feel naked skiing without one. i never do more than a three wiht out one on.
 
The only time in the past seven years i haven't worn a helmet is for urban stuff. Which, now that i think about it, seems incredibly stupid.
 
man...i use my helmet in the park all the time. On runs, i rock the tuque. There are soo many dents, and bumps, scratchs.......saved me from dying soo many times.
 
WHen helmets first started to come out my parents made my sis and i wear one...ive been wearin one ever since...feels awkward not to
 
i wore one all last season except for the last day. I was going bigger than with my helmet on and it felt more compfortable without it. So i'm going to bag it for a while for the aussie season..........which starts in 5 days!!!!!
 
I always wear a helmet. I just feel much safer with it on. Not that i nail those super hard tricks,but i just use it..
 
helmet always except for normal piste runs. why wouldn't u use a helmet when jibbing? if u hit ur head on a jib it'll prob do more than the snow from a landing will. When you have a sick R.E.D. Trace, or a nice helmet like that, why wouldn't you wear it anyway? They look sweet, and they're comfy too.
 
also, andreas hadtveit (prob spelled that wrong) wears a helmet. but he's like the only one who does.
