I think crochet is thicker, but Knitting is more tight. not as many holes.

knit is with 2 needles bat takes forever, crochet is with 1 hook and doesnt take as long.

crocheting is usually bigger holes, but you CAN pull it super tight and make it look like a knit hat. it just takes more time.
