Haters at your mountain

My question to everyone is if your mountain is full of haters like mine, or if ours is just retarded.

At mt Bachelor there are so many different groups of haters always trying to out do eachother.. its as if people care more about hating on one another than they do about keeping a chill environment and just having fun skiing. Tell me your thoughts.
 
today i was riding down a groomer and i ollied 180 to fakie. this group of 3 gay boarders were like "oohhhh big 180" stuff like that. i told something along the lines of "eat a dick" and they started to ride past me. i clotheslined the mouthiest one in the face and he went down. i rode away......

i have no tolerance for kids like this.
 
I hate the weekend warriors that come up from the city who are all pissed off and just rage and cut people off and piss me off when I'm just out to have a good time
 
Salt Lake City..... Soooo much attitude. Alta, all the powder hounds or whatever hate park skiers. At Brighton any nub who just got a snowboard for Christmas thinks they're the man and are still stuck in that "All skiers are lame and wear one pieces" attitude. It's awesome. PC is pretty chill and fun to just rip through...
 
People seem to cohabitate fairly well at my current mountain.

But I've seen that kind of attitude before. People (a) laughing or mocking others when they eat shit (in an assholish way); or (b) who mock others when they do anything less than a cork-9. It's fucking weak and shouldn't be tolerated.

If someone falls hard, I try to help them with their gear and make sure they're okay. If somebody does something cool, I give them props. If somebody tries something easy but eats shit, I still give them props. At least they're pushing themselves.
 
usualy the kids that deserve to get hated on are the only ones that do but lately all of the middle aged men have been complete ass holes
 
ooohhhhpp. That's the one I was missing. I knew PC had some sorta haters. Those middle aged men and their kids in the park. They'll getcha every time.
 
this 40 year old dude wanted to fight me (a 14yr. old) for accidetily cutting him off(the fact is, i had the right of way, this didn't matter in the least to this guy) he start gettin' all up in my face like "was that fuckin nescesary you fuckin asshole" so i just leave it be and this fucker starts followin me around yelling profane shit at the top of his lungs, all i did was apologize, the he ays i was "mouting off" and asked if i wanted to "step out" despite the fact we were already outdoors, so this goes on for another 15 minutes until he dissapears, apparently to complain to the office cuz the next day i got called in and nearly had my pass takeen. the next day i find out this asshole has aseason pass and is a race parent or something.
 
most people talking shit are just joking around cause they are blazed, drunk, or in front of chicks, just hate back at them in a friendly way and its all chill
 
I was skiing switch at my mountain and some kids ride up from behind me and yell "SHOW OFF!" and ride away.

apparently skiing backwards makes me a showoff!
 
I gotta say at Mount Snow my real home mountain everyone is a hater. haha not really but no one is openly that friendly where skiers are like friends already before meeting. 7springs my mountain when at college, if you have a pair of skis on your like one of them. Its awesome, maybe just my personal feeling they are the nicest group of skiers anywhere
 
i don't think there's any serious hate at baker.

but once, i saw these snowboarders up above a run, i have no idea why, they probably thought it was cool even thought there wasn't even a jump or drop. there were some guys skiing through their "landing" and they yelled, "get out of the way, two-plankers!" sorry, but that just makes me think of the land before time. ridiculous.
 
there are a bunch of dick snowboarders at my mountain but the skiers are chill mostly, the park/newschool kind of skiers, that is
 
Going along with Tanakaskier, I was riding switch down a groomer last weekend, and this two racers speed by and are like "I like the way body's going asshole! Try going the other way". They then slowed down and began taking rediculously wide turns in front of me, cutting me off with each one
 
I get shit from ski petrol,skiers,snowboarders at my local hill all the time,there allway`s commenting on how baggy my shit is and saying how i`m just a little thug. Thinking that i`m allway`s causeing trouble
 
people have been known to yell shit from the lift and what not, its kinda funny though, as if anyone cares
 
haha i somtimes laugh at people in rookie park from the lift but thats most of the hate i do

not to meny haters at grouse mountain but one time i was trying to get the 270 on and my friend was at the top of the park and was listening to a racer guy telling all his friends how much i suck.
 
montanas fairly chill, sumtimes guys think their ho tshit then u just destroy them and they shut up...
 
pretty much all the skiers at my local mountain are chill and same with the boarders, every once in awhile we'll get some fucker who hates, but the sick people out weight the goons by so much that they just dont front
 
mountain creek has got to be the hate mountain capital of the world. all these boarders come in from NYC every weekend sipping on the haterade thinking they are the absolute shit. and if they aren't too busy hating, they make time to cut every one on liftlines. there are chill people at MC, but a lot of them really need to leave their fake ghetto shit at home.
 
my mountains dec. all my snowboard friends say the boarders shit each other out like crazy, but for skiers i haven't really noticed it. pretty much trying shit gets you respect, skiers are def more friendly to each other around here
 
dude same fucking situtation! i was talking to my freinds in teh lift line, and there was this guy between me and my friends. so i start talking to my friends, and slide forward a bit. so he sticks his pole out in fornt of me and said somthing along the lines of " hey, lets be polite in the lift line" or some shit like that. so then i was like wahtever for a second, then i decided to say " sorry colton (friends name) i guess i cant talk to you" the guy turns around and says something like" you wanna start something?" and at this point i was trying tip stands , and my skis decide they need to double eject, so im sitting htere ski less and the guy is laughing at me. i was so ready to kill him ( i wouldnt win, but i would have snuck attack his ass with a spork or some shit) that guy was a douche.....
 
dude same situation here cept thisd ad chewed me out for cuttin goff his 4 yr old son who was gona ride over the jump and i had the right of way cuz i started at the top and called my drop and i told him to get out of the way cuz i was haulin and he finally got scared and moved outta the way.

his dad after cam over to me and got all mad at me for being an "idiot" when his noob 4 yr old son didnt know what he was doin

yes we have haters but thier all better than i am so thier cocky assholes who make fun of what you can do then just show you up

All the kids at Mt Snow are super legit. Don't even know them all that well and they never hesitate to say whats up.

Same with Granite Gorge all the kids there are super legit as far as I am concerned.

Only place I have taken some heat at was whaleback and it was from two boarders who thought they were tough shit. haha they were on the mini set up and not even going near the urban stuff, so really didn't care to much.
 
the guys at pine knob are pretty chill but everyonce in a while you will get the group of "hardass" 12 yr olds
 
I don't acknowledge much people at my mountain but I start getting pissed at these idiot kids when they get cut in front of at the j bar line and act so out of it. I end up walking up the mountain feeling every line cutting snowboarder's stare as they are dragged up the mountain.
 
yeah i know people are gnar at Mt. Snow, usually the only hate comes from the lift above the park when u fall they either laugh or say "good one", but even that rarelly happens
