incredibly talented skier, there's no doubt about it.
Anyone who calls him a "robot" or whatever horseshit insult has no idea how the competition scene functions, and has also probably never seen that level of skiing go down in person. I always withhold my criticism of comp skiers, because that shit is quite literally insane.
It's easy to critique [read: be a shithead] when you're watching at home on your computer. Objectivity changes when you're standing on the deck of a 65 foot jump watching some 17 year old stomp dubs like it's his job. (because it IS his job. remember that.)
all that being said, I think the judges must have accidentally closed their eyes on that last hit...pretty questionable. But comp judging inevitably sucks (generally), and has ever since I can remember.
side note, holy SHIT the conditions looked scary on his last run. Foggy and horribly flat light? Might as well do two dubs. YIKES.
anywho, it's over and done with. So really, who fucking cares?
