I've tried to write threads on the topic if the recent future of skiing. I have expressed my distain for most freestyle skiiers today. I'm not wring in ordr to "hate i'm expressing my lack of respect for kids who dress all thug don't use poles and are complete park rats. It's cool to try and look steezy; i do the whole baggy thing, but bandannas, xxxl basketball jerseys, and not usign poles is just dumb. Mostly because the only kids who do dress like that aren't good, the whole point of not using poles is so you can do grabs easier ( although is is just as easy to grab with poles). A majority of kids who actually don't use poles don't hit big jumps and don't utilize. All i'm saying if ur one of those kids don't dress like an idiot, i know your momy buys you all the newest gear but there should be some corelation between skills and gear.

I know the standard responce will be: as long as ur having fun you have accomplished the goal of skiing; stop hateing. If you thought about writing this reponse you are dumb because neither are legitimate arguments.

Go skiing have fun but don't give skiiers a bad name by being an idiot

 
another reason why I personally dont use poles in the park is its a pain in the ass to hike back up if you take your skis off and dont have straps on your poles.
 
how could you have posted several threads relating to this topic, if you only have 5 posts??? but ya prepare yourself for a beating. people can do whatever they want...
 
im sure theres a few thousand thugged out skiers who are waaaaayyyy better than you'll ever be. Don't hate on something just because you thinks its stupid. What the fuck is so good about the way you dress?

k look. if you hate, you're stupid. even the creator of this thread! don't even worry about wheteher or not people hate....the haters hate and the people who are okay and chill don't hate.........some people just ski and they ski because they love it and they love it because they REALIZE that skiing=something great that people have FUN at because its sick and it rocks and you can have a GOOD time doing it. So nobody should ever worry about hating because dude i mean seriously you shouldn't worry about it. Just ski. Really. SKIING FUCKING ROCKS DUDE GO SKI AND TEAR IT UP!!!!! and if you can't ski just chill. chilling with some ski friends are so sick. seriously, no worries. just call up a friend and say hey . skiing rocks. don't hate. elaborate on the love of skiing/ PEACE!
 
who cares..... wear wut u want, dress like u want, go skiing and HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!! poles or no-poles its a personal preference.
 
Really man why do u give a shit about what other people look like, why u gotta be so fucking judgemental. Im not very good, i wouldnt say i dress thug at all but i wear bright baggy outerwear because i like it.. Should i not be able to dress how i want because im not an amazing skier? Fuck no...just find a style you like, dont be a dick (u should listen to that part), and have a good time.
 
i feel like i just read a thread like this. and personally i dont think there has to be a corrolation between outerwear and skill however if i happen to see a kid with huge clothes and is cocky about his skills, thinks hes the shit, and feels like he owns everyone but can't spin a 180 off a little jump on the side of a trail than i think hes an asshole

i just ski for fun. and i choose not to judge people by what they wear.
 
people need to stop making threads like this everyone has their own opinion if the style of thug is not for you it's not for you so don't dress like that it is simple. If you think no poles look stupid then keep your poles on. It is really that simple you don't need to go into anymore depth.
 
man if you have the money, and thats your style, i dont see the problem with people dressing the way they like. regardless of their skill.
 
Exactly, if you suck you have to have the crappies worst looking worst condition stuff, if you have new or good stuff or stuff that you like or have your own style then you will get mauled by a giant cougar and then you will be issued a ticket by the steeze police
 
You sound bitter. maybe you just got your first set of styley duds and you are bummed that others have had cool stuff for years. anyway, as long as ur having fun you have acomplished the goal of skiing; stop hateing. HAHA!

the reason dressing thug is weak is everyone does it; people should get their own style. if dressing like ur favorite pro or local thug makes you happy thats fine, i'm just letting you know you look like an idiot. every person who replys angrigly to this thread is exactly what i'm talking about.
 
I will put it this way. Dress and ski however you want. That still doesn't take away my right to critique it.
 
i dont think all ppl dat dont use poles do it 4 dat reason i dont use em not 2 look cool or because everyones else is doing it but because im more comfortable w/o em i feel like im going 2 land on em when i hit the jumps and they just get in the way, not because i wanna b like everyone else

now if u like skiing wit poles i honestly dont give a fuck everyone should shut up and ski however they wanna ski and dress however they want to i dont want people telling me what to do or what not to wear

i wear bright flashy cloths

i wear a bandana

i often say ye and other thug words

i'm not a great skier out of the park

i dont bring my poles up to shred the jib park

i also have alot more fun in my life because i dont worry about it

u arnt fitting that name at all ur too worked up about something that doesnt apply to u at all. mabye u should just go ski and ski how u want to be. i personally dont like to ski park all day but if the snow is good i wont visit the park for a long time espically if we get a big storm but dude just go out and smoke a bowl like ur name says

well honsetly...how many newschoolesr are there these days a good amount and how many clothes are there that people that snowboard/ski in the park or watev wear? there arent that many clothes companyes out tehre i mean there are but they only make a certain amount of clothes and so ur gunna c people wearing the same stuff n00b. like u go into school and people were the same stuff all the time becuase they all shop at the same stores same thing with skiing.
 
Although I dont like XXXXXXL clothes and bandannas, I dont criticizes because my snowsuit is diffrent and I would like them laughing at me.
 
i think he bosta.. means everyone has the same style not same articles of clothing. most kids try to be thug. people should try someting else thats more original
