Hate to be the guy to say it but on3ps really aren’t that great.

I know being a Newschoolers we are supposed to have this profound connection and only reccomend on3ps but the more I ski them I realize how big of shit they are, brands like atomic , rossignol shit even armada all make much higher quality ski imo. Inb4 only support small local brands hell no.

?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️ Armadas definitely are not my first choice either. Not that I’m a huge fan of faction or liberty either I would put them in the same category...... some of those Icelantics skis look nice

Armada is the only non-german company that can compete with the germans

I tried the jeffreys and they just didn’t have that edge control or maneuverability I’m used to they were fun as fuck low speeds and hitting jibs but when I took them on the big mtn had a hard time standing up. I know they aren’t you’re all mtn charger skis but compared to the bentchetlers 100 they didn’t hold up throughout the turn felt like I was gonna wash out

Lucky this is a fresh acc ??? do you only ski on3p fam? Don’t be so triggered

skkkrrrrrrrtttt .... skis don't make the skier! literally any skis can be "good" or "bad" depending on what you're doing with them.

hey man

no shit they aren't like the bentchetlers they are much more of an all mountain ski that rides like a twin park

edit: this is probably a troll post when i think about it too stupid

It's really so sad there are only like three options for skis and that companies don't make a wide variety of skis for all different tastes and types of skiers...so sad.

I can tell you from experience that if you can't charge big mtn on the jeffreys it's you, not the skis. I have no trouble -2cm from center. You gotta ditch the directional training wheels.

I was skiing the best powder of my life on steep terrain on my 95 underfoot, center mounted park skis and still had a blast. My best day on rails last season was on jerry rental skis. Your skis don't matter as much as you think

So we've got a 13 year old troll with an alias account lol. If you can't ski big mountain on the Jeffreys then you either need stronger legs, longer skis, or you just suck

I really enjoy my billy goats no lie.. like a lot. I'm not hitting park on them. But they get dirty in powder like I like em

He might have 80 lbs on you it tends to make a difference

It seems like moment is a better version of on3p. All their skis are lighter while maintaining similar durability, look cooler, and are maybe a little cheaper

Jesus op you got some balls lol. Tbh you probably just suck at skiing. "had a hard time standing up ." yep lmao. There's a reason skis have different specs to better suit beginner vs intermediate vs advanced vs expert.

If you're gonna make such an unpopular post about a well validated brand across multiple ski communities, you need to back it up with some experience examples. You can't just say they suck. This goes for any brand. Yeah they're not for everyone but the skis are badass. You might just need a noodle tbh.

P. S. Who tf says big mountain anyway? Lmao

And to the dude saying your skis don't matter. Sure not completely, but get a good pair and you'll see how much more speed, stability, and all around fun a nice pair of skis is. Rentals suck no contest.

I mean overall they do better than the other brands but no one is perfect. Idk how people ski such short skis. But Volkl and Fischer made skis for men 200+ cm and pulled them after a year. So that’s terrible I’m just glad I have shiros in 203 and rangers in 202. Skiing a short ski is super lame. Who the fuck wants something short when they are rockered. And I can ski moguls perfectly with both.

It’s not that you can’t do it just in comparison it sucks, don’t get me wrong they are perfect for hitting little jumps and rails I’m just talking how they hold up at max velocity, they still work just feel sketchy af

Lmao do you understand edge control and maneuverability??? They look really cool and as far as us freestyle skiers going looking cool is half the battle but when it comes to skis I want something that will preform good not just make me look good, all I’m saying all those kids that automatically bought on3ps because that guy on the internet recommended them are getting fucked, if you actually intend to ski drops, powder, carvers at a decent speed they are not the skis. If you wanna look like the OG in lifelines go ahead

Man nah im like 200 6'5 on some 186 kartels mounted -1 from centre. They get better the harder I go and the stronger I get so its not that. I bet he just can't ski cause they do kinda suck on groomers unless you're basically dragging knuckles especially if you have them detuned for the park. Honestly the only ski ive ever used thats fun af at slow speeds and not at all sketchy going as fast as possible. If he thinks armadas are higher quality then he def sucks, my arvs would fold in half at the end of the sidewall where the cap starts and it was impossible to ski hard cause of that also my arvs had messed up epoxy or something and all the glue underfoot was just gone by the end of the season leavings voids in my skis. My kartels are my 4th pair of skis in 3 years and every other ski has gotten fucked except the kartels and I def skied the on3ps the most and hardest of all of them. Ive also cracked 3 boots in the past 2 years. The only pieces are gear I have that last more than a season are my poles, my on3ps and my pivot 18s.

Tl;dr: Avoid ditches and learn to ski/get in shape and ON3P's are the best ski imo

But [tag=271124]@bobby_vail[/tag] has to be trolling cause theres no universe where armada and rossi make higher quality skis than ON3P so I feel kinda dumb rn for saying all that

You think he'd make it a whole day, I give it 2 hours tops

This kid told his dad to buy him Magnuses because he wanted 2 b cool and swerve but is frustrated his 110lb pathetic 13yr old body can’t flex the ski enough to butter

Honestly OP is prob just a bitch who bought ON3Ps to be cool.

If we are all honest for a minute, right now the industry is saturated with niche brands. ON3P, Vishnu, Moment, Icelantic, etc. These small brands are producing amazing skis that are built well and they have this undeniable appeal. Not only are you supporting a small company, and not only do your skis feel more personified, but you get to be in an exclusive club. This club is full of people who are passionate skiers and didn't just go to the local shop and have their parents buy them honey badgers. These people know all about their skis and are proud to have them on their feet.

However, as appealing as this may be, these are still niche brands making niche skis. Not everyone is going to understand them. People should buy skis that they will appreciate the characteristics of and not just what some fan boy clown on NSers told them to. And I am not trying to flame any of these companies. ON3P makes some amazing skis with some of the best build quality you can get your hands on. But not everyone is going to understand a heavily rockered ski. Just the same not everyone is going to understand a super soft jib noodle like a Vishnu.

So OP prob doesn't like his skis because he doesn't understand them and they don't fit his style. This only further reinforces my point that one should buy a ski that compliments them and not what a bunch of internet strokers told them to.

You need longer skis

I fully agree but when i bought my skis I needed them that week for a trip so I couldn't wait for a custom kartel 96 to get a 191 but this summer I'll hopefully find some money for custom 191 kartels with extra carbon. But for some reason the industry doesn't really make many 190+ twintips under 100mm waist. 186 kartels are the same length as my 190 sir francis bacons tho which is money

I actually only ski rossignol soul 7s thank you very much.
