Why is there so much hating on echo? Its close to denver (and the front range), its pretty fun to hang out there, the people are usually chill, the terrain isn't too bad and best of all its super cheap. Yeah I know its not breck or keystone and its sort of small but i think it is a fun place to enjoy what i love to do

well it takes about the same amount of time to get there as keystone and the park really isn't that great and the cat driver leaves chunks of ice in the middle of the runs which caused my brother to break his arm. it would be sick if it was better but...

you would think them being a full park only mountain, they would atleast have a park that is better than like breck or keystones mini park, but its not even better than that. the jumps are usually shaped shitty, its icy, and the rails are short as fuck and set up wierd. they could be awesome, but they have alot more to do.

"30 minutes to denver"

It takes 30 minutes to evergreen then an hour up a dirt path....Ridiculous. The one time I went there they had a fire going right next to the lift, the workers were dicks, I swear the lifties were bums, and lastly the park is weak

Echo is seriously like 45 min away if your making good time. The park is terrible. They only groom it on Tuesdays. Someone from breck or keystone should really go up there and teach them how to make jumps because they are the shittiest things i have ever seen. Both times i have been up there my friend has had to go to the hospital because of there jumps. Half the rails are just coming out of the ground and only like 6ft long. If they got an actual park crew and made an actual park then it would be a pretty cool place.

I think what I'm trying to say is that I think its a fun place to mess around. From where i live its much closer than going to some place like Keystone or even Loveland. That drive from evergreen only takes about twenty to thirty minutes and its got nice views if you care about that. Its definately not the best park in the world but i guess you get what you pay for and its better than my home mountain(eldora-its park is a ride on box and a couple rollers) Oh yeah that thirty minutes from denver is crap but oh well.So compared to what i have echo is a fun place for me at least
