Hate my shortness

im 16 in grade 12 and im like the smallest kid in my grade like 5'7, and it sucks so much

everyone is taller, even the grade 9's its belogne.
 
who cares dude, just get jacked it's way easier for you. im 6' 2" and have a wicked fast metabolism, im jealous of 5' 7"'s like you, you have it easy.
 
oh i forgot three other things that create attraction: Confidence, Pre Selection (if you are liked by other women and have a good group of friends) and congruence (if you are internally consistent with your personality and dont make shit up to try and win there respect). if your having trouble with girls, its not cause your short, maybe its your confidence because you dont think you will be accepted because your short. I heard an amazing quote once. and it went something like this "Theres only one difference between a champ and a chump, one small difference, and its 100% belief."

im in 9th grade and im 5'2 but my brother whos now 5'9 was smaller than me when he was my age. I think 5'8's perfect height especially for skiing too
 
theres this little indian kid in my school who is like 5' 1'' and were friends...hes awesome, he always fricken happy, i couldnt piss him off if tried haha- hes so cool- just be comfortable with who you are and go with the jokes and laugh at yourself- thats what this kid does, plus his name is mihir pronounced like me here- so ppl make fun of him all the time and he doesnt give a shit. im like 5' 8'' tho
 
you still have hope..... my dad was 5'1 when he graduated high school but in college he grew like 11 inches by like 20 ...
 
I don't believe any of that shit. most everyone decides within 5 secs of seeing someone whether or not they'd fuck them. women included.

for women, its those things you mentioned that make a lot more of a difference. but that doesn't mean shit, just look at studies on interracial dating. plenty of girls are just not attracted to men outside their race, and a guy could be as confident as he wants, it doesn't mean shit. just ask some girls you know about the height thing, they'll confirm what I said.

plenty of girls are not attracted to short guys. sorry. I'm skinny, some girls don't like that. it's just the way life is. don't let anyone tell you everything is a confidence issue. confidence is the key as long as you're within the parameters of attractiveness that the girl has. if you are way over her standards, a lot of times you could be as socially adept as a fuckin post and it wouldn't matter. and if you're under it, sorry, unless you are a mac and a half it's not gonna happen.

 
thanks everyone i dont feel so lonesome now knowing some of you are in the same boat as me. I was also talking to my gf about the issue and she brought up the fact that my arms are huge for my body. Like seriously my hands sag lik only 6 inches over my knees. She said that this means that i will grow soon/more.

i used to be super short but now i'm 5'11, projected to be 6'2, being short isn't bad though, i dealt with it for a while in middle school, i was always shorter than everyone else, but it's fine. you'll grow also, guys don't stop growing until they're 21. there's a kid in my grade whose under 5 feet, he has some growing issue so you can be glad you're not that short
 
because many people would be happy to be 5'10, by no means is it short and it's an insult to the thread creator, the average height is like 5'9

Im 14 and 6'10" and not done growing, but you might grow up to be taller than me you never no, as long as your gettin girls its all good.
 
People make that comment alot on here on how if your short its easy to grab. It makes no sense! some one who is 5'4" has a much shorter distance to reach for a grab.....with their much shorter arms!!! where as some one who is 6'7" has a much longer distance to reach....with their much longer arms!!! do ppl not understand porportions??

you have no idea about game then. my wing is a 5' 6" non-goodlooking italian and he gets laid like a fucking rockstar. Those are all bullshit excuses. I'm skinny too, if a girl says something like that to me I just don't react, be non-reactive, its a shit test to see if you care. I'll say something like "ya I actually used to way 350 pounds, the doctors said I might die from being too obese, so I went to the gym everyday for 4 years and I lost 300 pounds, now I weigh only 50 pounds aren't you jealous." then she'll just laugh and move on. It's all a shit test, I've nailed girls way out of my 'league'. But you just have to get out of that mind frame I know 10's that think there probably 7's, but guys go up and treat them like there god's gift to the world and thats unnattractive to them so they just shut the guys down.
 
yo i was 5'1 when i was 16 now at age 24 im 5'5.... you might grow another few inches. but once you hit my age thats when you stop growing... tall anyways... then once legal drinking age adults tend to grow out haha

if you were 6'2", you shouldnt need extended golf clubs, unless you have back/knee problems and cant bend. so many people say "im tall, i need extended clubs" and they couldnt be more wrong. 2 guys i work with, a father n son, are 6'3" and 6'2" and both use regular length clubs just fine. both are awesome golfers and the son goes to golf school for college.

and i agree with argyl about the girl thing, its more confidence than anything. sure yourstruley or w/e is right about first impression, but that includes much more than just looks.

and all these stories about late boomers...my dad was kinda late growing at 17, so hopefully ill grow in my college years. you're all giving me hope that ill officially reach 5'6" instead of saying it and really being 5'5.5"!
 
ya i prob wouldnt, but i dont bend my knees a ton, i have a more upright swing. but i palyed with a kid who was about 6'5' today and had like a 45 inch putter that was a cut down belly putter, that he used normally.
 
im 5'0 im 13, im shorter than almost everyone in my grade, its annoying most the time, chicks wise, i dat ones that are like the exact same height, cutting off ome of the tall hot chicks, cause its just akward for me to have to go on my toes to kiss girls.. im in 8th grade, i have made out, and soo i guess there are girls that are attracted to me and some arent
