i just received an email saying this 'DON’T CALL YOUR SELF A FREESTYLE SKIER IF ALL YOU CAN DO IS A 360. THAT’S THE EASYIST TRICK! “And I’m only 13.” I know kids that are only 8 and can do a 360.'....

why do ppl feel the need to do this? i do not know who this person is... whether its a newschooler or not but id like to say that im pissed. its my fuckin birthday and i just got notice that i have 2 D's in two of my school classes then i get a fuckin hate letter, saying shit about the one fuckin sport i cherish, the one thing i luv in life and would die for... skiing... please dont hate on ppl who may just be starting out, this is my second year 'freestyle skiing' why do we need this hate... were all out for the same thing, just to have fun!

people are just mad, mostly jealous that they were doing a 3 when they were 13. it's alright, it's not fault. they your skiing do the talking.

Hey man I know that all this stuff on here can get a person down.. And that it seems like the point of skiing anymore is to get to the top and be a pro.. But dude, if you can do any tricks, from a 180 to a d-spin 1080, no matter what it is and you love doing it,, then do it man, and love it..

I ski cuz I love it, I'm not worried about a sponsorship, getting hooked up, or anything. I'm going to ski hard still though and if there is a company who likes what I do, then that's cool. But for now, I'm just gonna do what I love and what I have a passion for. there is nothing like dropping a cornice into two feet of fresh. or building a BC hit and hanging out with your friends trying to get better and push each other.

I was thinkin to get that guy's e-mail, but who really cares, he's likely read this thread already and knows he's a fag for doing it. It's all about the love of the sport. Last season, bad concussion, first hospitalized conscious and drugged up words I said were,...'will this likely affect my skiing next weekend?'... like I said, for the love of the sport

And ya, skiing is about having fun. It's a sport, something you do to get out and relax. I use it to get away from a bunch of bullshit tha I have going on. And it's soley for fun to me.

heh im 20 years old and I just learned 3's early last season and I could give less of a shit. It's all about having fun I ski to have some sort of focus in my life and just to have a good time because thats what skiing is, a damn good time. I go to college so I can someday have a fast car. Shit I dont even think they had terrain parks when I was growing up :D

well put, just ignore that stuff people throw at ya. Ski cause you love it, who cares what you can throw on the mountain. Shit, I just do it cause its a damn good time. Whatev though, I'm alright, but will never even be as good as any pro and I could care less....that's why I'm going to college to make some $$ when I graduate.

there are ahters in most any sport. a lot of them suck anyways and if they see somebody that is a beginner or isnt that good they will tlak shit to make um feel like they are good
