Omg i was literally thinking about this on my way to work this morning. The early2000’s era of park skiing was all like 90’s hip hop/reggae or whatever. It sems like this era of park skiers like to jam to angsty alternative music in parachute pants. i just remmeber being inspired by totally different styles of edits when i first started skiing. Its changed a lot since then

Fuck personal coaches in the park. If you're hiring someone to teach you how to slide a tube you need to reevaluate what you're doing on skis. Figure that shit out on your own like everyone else. Summer camps are sick, that's different, but it's so irritating pulling up to the early season hike park and half the kids in there have some dumbass hired coach teaching them basic shit.

I hate posers who use 100+ width skis in the park on normal hardpack days just because that’s the trend. Like ski on whatever you want but you’re literally hurting your performance just to follow a clown ass trend.

Personally I actually really enjoy balance and hating on folks any chance I get. Skiing also provides many satisfactory opportunities to hate on folks. I think for these reasons I'm going to have to pass up on the offer to participate in the hate free season. However due to the lack of hate y'all will be providing I will try to add more hate to balance things out.
