Hate between skiers

Now that the season is over. I look back and wonder how there is so much hate between different groups of skiers and boarders. At my local place there is a core of guys that are pretty good, and the rest of us are just left out. When i was trying mistys this year they acted like a bunch of asses too me and called me a fag for no reason except that i am getting closer to their level. Oh well...

 
DUde it totally Difrent at are hill I know it seem like showing of but at are hill if u wanted to talk to some one that is good when there about 16-18 u just do like a cork 5 and they will give you props and then u become freinds... Lol well it worked once for me, But serouisly who cares what other people think if u can almost do a misty Just getter better with your freinds, Maby the misty was Fvcken sick and they were Just Jelouise.

I failed my gr7 LA-spelling class, so I don't give a F*ck if I spelt some thing wrong.
 
screw that shit, i dont care if i can do a quadruple backflip, no trick should determine who ur ski boys/girls are... i totally agree with u, skiers who are better should be out there helpin out other skiers, i would like to see those kids call me gay for not being able to do a trick, id laugh in their face, i wanna see them beat juggle on a pair of turntables, then i will be the one laughin at them, so it goes both ways ya know, some things u can do, that other people can't do, but if u help people out, then the sport will just be better in the long run....

yah i get that problem a lot. im not quite good enuff to hang out with the great jibbers at my hill so they act like assholes to me.. oh well id rather be skiing with my friend who dont care how i ski

you ever like, actually talk to them? and if you got your own crew than fuck them... why do you gotta care about being accepted by them? just go out and ski with your friends.

At blue mountain the main crew there has a bunch of people in it, and talent has nothing to do with who we hang out with. if you got a good attitude, evenually we'll become friends with you.

so just keep skiing and they'll either become friends with you, or they won't. just go ski and don't give a fuck what they think.

at my hill there are hardly any good skiers so we just stick together...

how bout a guy who skis up the landing of a jump as you almost land on top of him, then the same guys turns around, throws an ice chunk at you and calls you a faggot. oh yeah then yells at you to get out of 'his park' because you aren't on twin tips. hmm that guy was real bright...

 
yea, i dont know anyone really that rides twintips. When iv been skiing, iv had people gimme props for riding twins though! Im gunna be skiing every weekend next year at Moonstone or blue mountain, maybe ill get to know some people :p

I had my first newschool season this summer. Most of the locals helped me out on tricks but some were dicks like the snowboarders at my hill. I really don't care. Its fun and why should their words stop me from progressing. Im can't wait for next year.

if i was skiing to impress other boys to be in their 'crowd' i wouldnt be skiing, i dont really care if they are good or bad. with my experiences most people that are really good are just fags. but some are chill

just dont be so intimidated by them, if you wanna talk to them, ask for advise do it, if they are asses, just talk back, they will realize your not a pussy and they will talk to you!!

 
i think the whole twin tip revolution brought alot of skiiers together, if i see a guy sessioning a hit or what ever we most always start yakkin and we usually get along pretty good cause we have somthing in common, but theres always gonna be an asshole

This was my first new school year, and I spent most of it which at a field which had a pretty talentless field most of the time. (Heavenly..cause I worked there).

There were some pretty decent boarders though.

Plus the fact that Heavenly bans inverts probaly turned the good folk away.

But even if you stuck a simple 360 on a small kicker people would cheer and clap. Hell...once I hit the biggest kicker in the park, and seen it was my first run of the day I didn't do any tricks, not even a grab. Yet people were still clapping and cheering.

A lot of them were however just old timer one-piece suiters though.

But yea... even though the terrain parkers were few and far, they patted each other's back alot.

What gravity?

Yeah dude you don't wanna hang with people who are ass holes. Skiing with a big bunch is ok when you're just hitting the Big Air over and over again, but when you all try to ski together I mean like follow each other down the mountain hitting ever hit you can see. It's really anoying skiing with a huge group. Either go solo with some tunes or have a 2-4 person group, but nothing more then that.

 
Well, being the only freeskier I know, when someone wants to learn how to spin or something, I try to be patient and give them the necessary steps and perhaps watch once. If I see someone making fun of them or something, I usually give them shit in return. Just because you know how to do a trick does not make you in any way superior to your peers. Its stupid when I see people like that.

there's only about five or six good skiers at my hill, and we just hate the little kids who insist on snow plowing up the ramp and stopping, then hiking to the table and sitting there for a bit, then slowly moving through the landing, dman that shit pisses me off

 
okemo has some nutty ass little kids...one of the racers who was like 4 feet tall was busting out of the pipe like 3 feet the one day which for a little kid in slush is pretty damn good. there is some hate between a bunch of us and a couple kids at okemo though who feel its their obligation to snake other people out of the pipe...but that's ok b/c they're tall, scrawny, and probably break like twigs...its strange though b/c no one has ever done anything to them to the best of my knowledge.

The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs.
 
ste marie, edelweiss, fortune and tremblant are very acceptant... the only thing is the little fags that spit from chairs... this was also my first year of newschool tricks and stuff which was prolly a bit obvious, so whenever i landed something, usually u getta props or a cheer or something... good ppl up here...
