So I currently have a Sandbox helmet I really like it but last week I cracked the fuck out of it when i was backing my car up with my back door open it fell out and i ran over it snapped a chunk of the bill off and cracked the back.
I'm thinking of getting another Sandbox but there are these other helmets I've seen on the mountain that are even more hat like I feel like the logo on it looks like "COC" i can't really tell never seen them close up only on other riders.
I need to get a helmet ordered as soon as I can so if anyone knows what I'm talking about just post up the brand's name. If not I'll ask someone next time I'm on the mountain. Muchos gracias guys hope you can help a brotha out.

As you said, Capix makes an affordable "wake helmet."

COC stands for Camp of Champs. Probably some kid running around with a di-cut on his Capix.

While those cap style hardhats are pretty sick, they do jack shiz to protect your head. No impact denisity foam. Just a few soft inserts and a plastic shell.

The correct labeling is a hardhat. They are not meant to take blows and are hardly meant to protect your head at all. Strictly for looks.

Just be warned. Highly recommend investing in a real helmet.

More protective? It's a brim. It had plenty of structural breaking points that are just waiting to crack on something. Especially that far out in the helmet. Those brims are a fashion statement. You want your helmet to protect you where it matters, and that's the part that actually wraps around your head. Any helmet should be used as a one hitter. If you take a big hit, who knows if the foam or shell is cracked? If your helmet breaks, than it did its job.

Kinda this, they do look look pretty wonk on skiers, but I think they look tight on snowboarders, nicest helmet fa shao.
