Hasty Generalizations=Bad for the Sport

In response to Bundo's thread-

I can't believe you would stereotype a group of people like that...what gives the sport a bad name is when people aren't smart enough to pick the good from the bad, and therefore skip the difficult process and label everything with a negative connotation. Pro's are as diverse as any group of people, there are lame asses like tanner hall & even raps who have a 'bad' image, and then there are super studs like Cadide and Jon and others who keep the attitude low key.

Saying that pros all have a negative effect on skiing is like saying all black people smoke crack or that all mexicans are wetbacks.

Please, save your stereotypes for minorities and rollerbladers.

while it would definitely seem to have been a joke it's a rather unneccesary one, as enough people have made similar threads and have at least appeared to be serious enough that it has become far more irritating than it is funny.
