i really hate to get involved in such a dumb thread, but jibinmypants, are you serious? bobby is new as fuck, invented switch dub misty 12s and 14s, and landed a triple recently, and won contests like it was going out of style. what are you smoking?
 
i've just come to the conclusion that he knows jack shit about skiing and that he'd be worth more to society as fertilizer.
 
We shouldn't be so hard on this kid, he's only been a member for a couple weeks and really doesn't know what he's talking about.

Just because someone's not a fan of a skier doesn't they don't know anything, for example, I'm aware of what bobby has done but I am not at all a fan of it or the direction in which he's pushing the sport. I respect his talent(which he has a lot of) and no doubt he's a nice kid, but i have a very different view of what's sick in skiing.
 
This is a really odd question to be asking. Scott Shmidt and Doug Combs (deceased) are still gnarly influences on skiing and what it is today, doubt they even wondered if they peaked...

Dingdingding! Not so much because he aint done, more because he doesn't really belong in the league with the afforementioned skiers yet. Come on, the kid's like 18! Just thought he was a weird mention in such an iconic line up, he's not quite there yet. (Even though im sure he will be!)
 
Yes, that's exactly what we think. This is at least the 100th time I've heard this exact thing on NS. First he falls at Xgames which is apparently completely unacceptable and very clearly means your career is over. His team doesn't win JOSS, tough shit. Just because others are up to par with him doesn't mean he's starting to suck..........

DOES NO ONE ON HERE REMEMBER THAT? but no of course Wallisch hasnt peaked, its the summer, no ones doing anything new. a thread just like this came out right after x games, however then people were not actually discussing it like it was a serious topic, because it isn't. stop worrying about pros peaking. unless you havent heard about a pro over the past year, he prolly hasnt peaked.
 
yea i watched him take a few pipe runs with bobby brown in mammoth. Id say peaked isn't in either of these guys vocabulary.
 
i think he was boss before he went pro. when 4bi9 was the shit... when he afterbanged and threw huge rail tricks...i think he turned into the shawn white of skiing...imo...does what he has to do to win and stay on top...
 
When one of the best park builders in the world (Jonas from Alpine), who loves an excuse to hate on skiers, comes up to me after a week of spring park filming with almost the entire Level 1 crew and says "Fuck, Wallisch is for real! He might be the most impressive rider I've ever seen", it means something. This is a dude who has been building photo shoot jumps for the best snowboarders in the world for a decade now and has literally seen everyone in the industry ride.

So in short, no, you're fucking retarded if you think he's peaked. No one who actually knows anything about skiing would argue otherwise.

But yeah, Wallisch does seem like a skier who is progressing everytime he wants to. Otherwise he just focuses on the style aspect. That's something to respect.
