i was surfing at salomonski.com and i didnt get his name to my eyes when i was chekking the teamers list.. so has he left salomonteam?? and where has he went??

if it was true, salomon has anymore one good skier, candide..

 
It might be true... I know that he was pissed off with solomon during the wsi... He wouldn't wear there new space frame skis, he was on his Dorion Model.

Philou doesnt ride FOR Line, he just owns a pair of lines that he sprayed black and put Oakley stickers on. I doubt that he will be sponsored by Line... I see him moving to Dynaster, or mabye Rossi, or mabye even Head?

Linewepon, money makes everything go smooth. I don't know what they are paying candide, but I'm sure its more than they are paying anyone else on that team. And besides they are all euro-Frenchies so they can suck each others asses, and be best friends forever.

 
oh and about mickael-

No doubt he is probably one of the best skiers ever. His problem is he just doesn't give a fuck. Not that that is really a problem, but with dynastar it is. They don't see the logic in having a skier that just crusies around doin his own thing, even when 'his own thing' is the sickest shit ever. He never does good in contests, so dynastar just jerks him around, gives him minimal travel, and thus he gets minimal exposure. Its going to be a while before someone like Mickael can really make a name for themself, ski comanies just aren't in the right mindset at this point in time.

A perfect example of someone like mickael in skateboarding is Tom Penny. He just crusies, and his sponsors are happy because every kid that has a clue knows he is the sickest skater on the planet.

 
true dat dave... skiing isnt at a level yet where video sections make enough to pay athletes huge salarys yet... Look at JP waler though... he shows how far ahead snowboarding is.... he has never entered a major contest but still gets paid huge and gets a travel budget and everything, and this is because he only films and puts everyone in there place in the meantime.

the only way to change skiing for the better is to go back and take a look at our earier themes... support the complanies who support skiing...

so if you buy line... then other companies will have to step up as well and we can change our side of skiing forever... freeride and park should be a competly different part of the skiing companies. it should have its own budget and management so that people like mickael can show us whats really up in skiing... but instead many people still idolize johnny mosely.

Mikael Deschenaux, Knows were it's at. He knows what skiing is all about. He is by far one of the stylist skiers. I think he should get way more credit than he does.

I don't think that Tom penny would be the best comparison for mickeal. Tom penny doesn't do comps or videos. He just lives in france and skates. Because he got his name out in the mid 90s, people still by all of his stuff. His sponsors love him. He just chills in france. Most pro skaters are a good comparison to mickael. they don't do comps, the just do vids.

Martin, because he was made at them...and he did spray paint them black, and he put a big Oakley 'O' sticker on each ski. When you ski for Oakley you don't really need any other sponsors.

Parker669, you need to ask yourself one question to know if this rider run company would survive. Would you buy there gear? if you said yes then they would make it just fine. But if for some stupid reason you said no, well then they don't have a chance. People are starting to get sick of the old ways so start supporting the companies that will make a difference in this sport in the future.

well if you would then that means that people out there like you will think the same thing. If enough of the crowd is on there stuff the new people to the sport want to be with it so they buy the stuff and then that is how they make a living. That is exacly how everyone on htis board makes a difference as well.
