Has Mos Def Sold out?

After seeing Mos Def on Bill Mahre, Talladega nights and that shitty NY crime movie i told my friend that Mos Def has sold out. He thinks not. What do y'all think?

The main reason Ice Cube is considered a sell out is because of NWA. Mos Def hasnt really betrayed anyone, hes just promoting himself in a new way. And 16 Blocks was a quality movie, unlike Ice Cubes shit. Though I do love Boys in the Hood.
