See Frenchy, I buy things that have a good reputation for quality, as that actually matters when you aren't just standing around in the park all day. FD has a rep as making some of the worst quality gear this side of Bandladesh. Kids on here have attested to ripping the pants taking them out of the fucking shipping bag for fuck's sake. They are the Grenade gloves of outerwear, made specifically for posers and steezy tweens who know nothing of actual quality outerwear and just want the FD sticker for their stanced MKII douchemobile's back window die cut collection.

i bought it cause it was cheap and insulated, and a new company that i wanted to support. i don't even ski park. i could understand your hate if you'd actually had an experience with the product, but you haven't, so i don't.

This whole FD hatered is retarded. If you dont like it dont buy it, very simple. Stop hating on companies in our very small industry or its only going to get smaller.

Comparing Norrona to FD is absurd. Really comparing FD to any reputable outerwear brand(norrona, arcteryx, mammut, marmot, etc...)is absurd.

But then again you'll be perfectly fine wearing FD if you stand around in the park all day and that's their target audience so really this thread doesn't concern me.

What else am I gonna ski, I live in Connecticut..... Nobody stands in the park, so please don't even say that. We ski in the park.
 
i wore first drop for a season. it sucked. i was jealous of how the outerwear of everyone else was visibly more durable and of higher quality. also the pants fit retardedly
 
Lol my first day skiing I wore cotton tall tees, that is about 2 seasons ago.... I wear jackets and hoodies buddy. That was warm weather skiing.

What was in reference to him? I didn't compare FD to other ski outerwear companys to him?
 
If you don't like something, then don't buy it. Every company will produce color ways you don't like and some you do. But just making shit up in order to bad mouth a company is rediculous and pretty childish.
 
Does anyone else get bugged with all the ads constantly showing up? They pop up just about every time i refresh the page or watch a vid. For me watching someone drive off a ledge in a car doesn't want me to buy ski outerwear. I think they're trying a little too hard, Thats my input.
 
I ski in a cotton tall tee. And I hardly ever leave the terrain park. And I wear FD, and love it.

I have no reason to do otherwise. I ski in 60-80 degree weather on a hill that is only a terrain park. And my outerwear description is (partially) from a song. Want to try again?
 
or if you are in the back country like josh stack. Really FD has improved and anyone's comments about quality is clearly from their first few years.

When I bought pants and a jacket and wanted to return them they were actually real responsive. Took a while to get the money, but they answered every email quickly and didn't avoid any contact, and I think any slowness in return was probably accidental. Can't comment on the stuff, but I think the whole "they scam the shit out you" thing is overblown.
 
To my pre puebrty teens full of comments. You all fall under the category of Defamation of Character... Meaning you try to make a company look bad effecting their sales, reputation, etc... This makes you liable for lost revenues, or you legal guardians if under 18. As some one has threatend as seast and assist (david hassolf?)... Realize comments have consequenses... Enough is enoug from kids who still wet their bed
