around Detroit, M (local talk) is the man, I don't really like alot of his public stuff but his underground stuff is legedenary around here. Kid Rock is another local boy gone big that has the city wrapped around his balls. Those two are kings of the music world here in the Detroit area. I remember those two before they where famous . Lane you hit the nail on the head, They are both incredible business men who are also very active in the local scene who help promising bands from this area have an arena to perform in and solid names to back them. In other words if you've got bad things to say about M or Kid stay the fuck outta detroit(not that anyone would want to go to detroit anyway).
