has anyone tried a mute slide?

I had this idea for a rail where u slide facing straight ahead with your skis crossed, so one foot is on the rail and the other foot is like resting on top of your sliding foot. u could totally do it fakie too. ive tried a couple times but i keep fuckin up and fallin. has anyone else tried or thought of this?

yea it wasnt in the video.

but that kid is pretty good on rails.the jumps are a little small but i like the double kink box part.

i cant wait for next season...
 
I tried one last winter on my neighbros pvc rail. they are hard and kept making me fall over

i imagine it would be extra hard on a pvc rail, super slick, not too wide, and most likely, a shitty rail

it would be pretty hard to hold the grab while sliding.im having a lot of problems just sliding a rail normally...

i cant wait for next season...
 
i've seen paul cotter do it a couple of times, it looks pretty sweet.

i think a sweet slide would be a triangle slide, one ski is pointed up and one pointed down

i dont like that idea.. sorry.. i think 50-50's like CR does are sooper sick.. but the idea of grabbin on the rail just doesnt appeal to me

sounds like a ski variation of soul grind, there were pic of some guy in his backyard sliding on a piece of wood while doing a half mute grab.
