Has anyone skied the new 4frnt Devastators?

I am on the fence about buying the new devastators. If anyone has ridden them or has an opinion please let me know. Just iffy on the weight reduction.

Thayne says they've got his stamp of approval, so, I'd imagine they're a pretty solid ski still, cause Thayne likes his stiff boys.

Isn’t he paid to approve it?

I have a pair from a few years ago before they lightened it up and I just got the new ones delivered so come January after I've had a solid early season skiing on them, I'll write up my thoughts and post it.

Will be keeping an eye on this thread bc I'm curious about this too - I have the 2019's. They absolutely rip but everything I would've changed about them is exactly what they did this year.

What did you specifically want changed?

They feel heavy at times, and not as surfy/responsive as I would like. That being said the weight makes them insanely stable and a ton of fun in chop and crud. So it's a toss up, depends on what you like to do on the mountain. I'm sure the new model is great.
