theres a post on here that shows a monoboarder dropping a 20 footer and sliding a rail--you have to give them props even if it is for dorky 70 year old frenchmen

 
yeah monoboarding is much cooler than skiboarding. damn sliding rails must be hard, your feet are so close together. the only question i have about it is: Wouldn't your balls get really uncomfortable with your legs like that all day? what if you like pinched them really hard when you fell? ouch...

Old school fo sho....but I think you'd have to be one FUCK of a skier to be able to do that shit....but on the same note it goes against ALL of today's 'new' skiing techniques.

I saw one in PA one time. this 30 year old guy was skiing down on some Rossi monoboard that was as old as he was. It was pretty sweet b/c he left really deep carves like alpine boarders

Ian Compton did for part of a segment with Level 1. It showed him jibbing with it for a little bit and then his bindings broke.
 
It's a monoSKI.

And it's rad.


Of course most people on'em look like dorks...on purpose or not :) That doesn't mean you can't rip on'em. That Pif dude (see the link) I believe still has the speed record on Glacier Rond in Chamonix (you do the math...)
